“After a hard day on the Camino this was a tranquil oasis in the heat of the summer sun. We had a wonderful welcome with staff being extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful, I was very impressed that they were able to help with a little late birthday surprise for my partner. The only way we believe this stay could have been improved was if they had a small pool to relax at and cool down in, however we did know this was not one of the available facilities when booking so could not mark them down……

“Servicio excelente, desayuno muy bueno para la categoría del establecimiento pero nuestra habitación era vieja, no bajaba bien la persiana y el baño aunque limpio era de los 80 y no se merece esa distribución o esa cortina. La terraza es muy bonita y permite disfrutar del entorno y la playa está a dos metros con aparcamiento y buenos servicios”

“Just out of town but they do a free shuttle bus into the town. A cab is €10. We stayed in their apartments (opposite the main hotel) which gave you a small lounge, conservatory and then the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It smelt a bit musty but we were there a few days and so it soon cleared. There was also a car parking space under the apartment. We never ate there but used the sun terrace and pool and had a night cap in the bar.”

“What a great experience we had at Balneario Acuna! The staff was so helpful and kind. We had messed up on our reservations and they immediately fixed it and got us a room hours before check in time. The grounds were gorgeous!! The pool was exceptional! We had the most relaxing swim after our long Camiño walk from Pontevedra. We decided to treat ourselves to a spa treatment called the Camino Pilgrims treatment. It started with a one hour soak in the most amazing jacuzzi pool with many jets and a……
