"Self check in so difficulty rating the staff. Bed very comfortable, room nice, shower good. Food at bar very average. Shame they don’t have any decent beer - great if you’re a lager lover !"

All staff were polite and always had a smile and a chat which Is good as shows interest with the people they have staying with them

"Wanting a lovely weekend away with my wife to be, having a not so pleasant experience. Our first room we was given was dirty and not maintained at all to a good cleanliness standard at all. Complain at reception they did upgrade us to another room however this was still dirty and not what i was expecting at all.
Would never return again."

Mercure Manchester Norton Grange Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was the first stop we made when traveling from Canada. Unfortunately we only booked for one night however it was worth it!
It was great to Uber from the airport and just spend our first evening in. We checked in, ate dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the hydrotherapy amenities of the hotel.
I booked this hotel specifically for the hydrotherapy knowing that after a long day's worth of travel it would be a great way to start our vacation.
The only thing was we were not given towels when we went and assumed they were inside the pool area so we did not have a towel to dry off! Fun fact, you get your towel from the attendant at the desk who allows you out back to the change rooms.
I went back again in the morning and my locker would not unlock, thankfully someone wearing clothing was able to walk to the desk and get someone to assist.
The food at the hotel was good for supper but a little expensive for what we got. The breakfast however was amazing and worth getting up to enjoy! There is also a small Starbucks built into the hotel which means the hotel had good coffee for breakfast!
Room and bed were comfortable however the shower was awkward and the floor gets very wet. As my partner was getting out of the shower I had wet feet and stepped on the towel to dry and when he was getting out the towel stuck to my foot and he slid into an awkward position which could be dangerous.
Staff are super friendly and I would highly recommend visiting this hotel!"
