“Rodney has an incredible property in the heart of the Driftless Area. My wife and our son were looking for a cozy cabin weekend not too far outside of Chicago, and our experience couldn't have been any better. It's not a big cabin, but it's so smartly designed that we even invited two other friends and brought along both of our dogs, and we *still* didn't feel like we were stepping on top of each other. “Beautiful cabin that has a winter cozy feeling the second you walk up to the cabin. My only issue which isn’t even an issue was there was a chill in the cabin near the kitchen and bathroom due to being older, again not an issue just something to consider when booking. Loved the location about 10 minutes from town but yet in the middle of nowhere. 10/10 place and would stay again”

“Charlie was very helpful in his communication. The cabin is very nice and well stocked (eg fridge had butter and every kind of condiment and medicine cabinet in the bathroom had basic medications!). Was hoping to catch northern lights - wasn’t lucky enough to catch them but this would be a great place to see them from. Nice picture window facing north and no external lights (except those you can turn off). Great view in a relatively dark sky location. ”
