“Most beautiful place in the world! Right by the ocean with amazing sunrise. Very cute house and well equipped. Just make sure you pack everything you need ahead because there is nothing close by. You have to drive about 45 minutes to closest stores in the city of Guysborough.”

“Looking for peace and quiet with an amazing view; this is the place to go. The wooden cottage is located up a hill with an amazing view on Lake Bras d’Or. The pictures are 100% accurate. Only thing to keep in mind, the drive up the hill is quite steep and the gravel road is quite bumpy. If you don’t drive a 4x4 or an awd vehicle, make sure your car is not too close to the ground or you could scrape and cause damage.”

“ Chris was a great and accommodating host. He provided excellent sightseeing ideas and was very prompt in his replies. The property was perfect for a private getaway and what beats sitting in your own hottub overlooking a magnificent view!”

“This was the first experience we ever had with a Vrbo or similar style of stay. We usually only stay in Hotels however if we are able to stay in places like this again then we will likely only stay here. This property was exactly as advertised and so clean! We had a blast and enjoyed the boats, water, hot tub and all the amenities. We will happily return to this property soon. PS - Make sure to get access to the sauna and community hot tub. “Beautiful property . The views from the screened porch and the deck that is up the stairs at the back are more spectacular ! Everything was there that was needed . Super clean , quiet and more spacious than we thought it would be. Would come back any time !”
