The hotel has roaches, poorly clean room, drug paraphernalia, water leaking from the AC and mold everywhere. I spoke with the front desk and let them know, I asked them for a refund and they said yes but I'd have to go through Expedia.
Per Expedia agent:
"Tayia I just spoke to the Front Office Manager on this and managed to get the refund for you for the unused night here that will be for 7th Jul, please do not worry our backend team will be placing the refund here for you and update you at the earliest.
The refund will be processed within 24 hours on our end and you should receive it within 7-10 business days depending on your bank's policy."
"I understand totally I would have loved to help you with the full amount but as the money needs to be released from the hotel here and the Front Office Manager declined so here we have option further option I hope you understand our limitations"
"I am truly sorry for all these you have to go through, I would like to inform you that as a token of apology we would like to offer you an amount of $25 as a token of apology from our end as we really never want our guest to go through these situation. I truly apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced."
Received an email A few days ago stating,
"Unfortunately, after multiple tries, we weren't able to obtain an approval from the property manager to waive the cancellation fee. This means the current rules and restrictions for your booking apply and a refund can't be granted."
