Happy Returners

We first stayed at Flowery Dell 11 years ago at the recommedation of friends..and have been regulars since. We have stayed in a number of the Lodges and none of them have disappointed. They are spotlessly clean, well kitted out, warm and comfortable. We love the peace and tranquility as we always visit in winter. Richmond is lovely with lots of places to eat and drink. The area is great for walking and sightseeing.

Very relaxing, peaceful site , you were only ten minutes away from Richmond in the car, probably around forty minutes on foot, lodge was also nice with a welcome hot tub that got used a lot. Would recommend.

Beautiful

Beautiful lodges in a perfect setting. Love the fact that we can take our dog with us, e didn't use the hot tub but I guess most people would love that it's available to use. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there, peaceful and quiet and has all the things you will need for a holiday

Great again

7th stay at flowery dell, 1st in larch. Lodge is great, all mod cons and the little luxury touches make the difference. Hot tub is emptied/cleaned/refilled before every stay and serviced every day. Staff are unbelievably good, nothing is a problem to make your stay perfect. We are booked again later in the year.

Outstanding stay!

We can't wait to come back! The lodges have everything that you need with some welcoming touches. Whilst the the location is quiet remote, just a short walk and you're at the local pub or in Richmond centre. The grounds are well kept and the staff are lovely. I was so happy with our weekend away I called this morning to thank them.

Beautiful Home Away From Home Vibe, with a Unique Hot Tub Twist

I was genuinely surprised by the vibe I got the moment I stepped into my lodge for the first time. It honestly felt like walking into my own living room — cosy, familiar, and instantly relaxing. The Christmas tree was up, the TV had all the channels ready to go, and the kitchen was the kind you could happily spend hours in. With Richmond only a five-minute drive away, and easy access to the rest of the Yorkshire Dales, I could genuinely picture myself spending a full week here without running out of things to do. I’ll admit, the price felt a little premium for what I’d usually choose… but once you experience everything — the comfort, the location, and not forgetting the ultimate hot tub experience out on the decking — it makes complete sense. I’m already gearing up to come back again in the spring or warmer months. There’s so much in and around Richmond that my children would truly enjoy, and after this first stay, I’m convinced it’s worth it.

My home from home

I’ve visited Flowery Dell over ten times with my wife and family and I can honestly say that this place has something special. My dog loves it more than any of us as he chases rabbits all day long. The location is silent and it’s a stones through from. The town and local amenities, book now if you want to detach from the rat race!

Just perfect

We have visited Flowery Dell three times in the past year, twice in the Hazel and once in the Larch. All lodges are extremely clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location is stunning and so peaceful. All you hear is the sound of nature. The hot tubs are spotlessly clean and well maintained and if you are lucky enough to experience a clear sky at night you can sit under the stars in the comfort of your hot tub. Richmond is less than a 5-minute drive away where you will find many shops, restaurants, and bars. You can also drive to the coast in under an hour to Saltburn-by-the sea and explore the beautiful Yorkshire Coast. Whitby is also a great day trip where you can experience a bustling town or boat trip around the coast and at night return to the tranquil Flowery Dell for rest and relaxation. I cannot recommend these lodges highly enough. All staff are very friendly, professional, and polite. They are a credit to the family that runs the business. Cannot wait for our next trip.

Beautiful , peaceful location, within easy walking distance of the town of Richmond. The lodge was perfect for our needs , even a welcome hamper.Staff are friendly and the site is well kept, would definitely recommend these lodges.

Lovely quiet spot

Great location for this little gem of a site which is small and beautifully maintained. The lodge was well equipped to a high standard, the beds lovely and comfy, the hot tub just right and the staff friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it!

Bank Holiday weekend stay

We booked the bank holiday weekend stay at Flowery Dell staying in Larch lodge. The area was lovely and quiet, a few lodges around a central area, none of the lodges overlooked the rear balcony area where the hot tub was. The lodge was really clean and had lots of extras in the property, like books, leaflets and magazines about the surrounding area. also a lovely little yorkshire hamper welcome box and a little dog welcome kit. Staff we spoke to were really friendly.

Amazing
