sleepless night

Overall beautiful and clean hotel, great bedding. 4th floor rooms however appear designed much simpler than the rest of the hotel. air conditioners were not working and windows were not designed to open. I'm sure it is possible to enjoy this hotel, but next time I'm gonna choose hotel Bergs instead.

5 star hotel with nice spa close to city center.

Nice old style hotel from 50s. Rooms are huge with all amenities included. A bottle of water every day and access to spa+sauna. Breakfast is a la carte but only the omelete was worth it for me. All the other staff very basic, for sure not a 5 star hotel breakfast. When I visited the hotel I have the impression I was the only guest (for sre there were more, but not many). Staff friendly and accommodating. 5 minutes walking to the city center. Wifi was good and fast.

徒歩圏内にトラムとバスの停留所があるので旧市街の外になりますが交通の便はいいです。 朝食は7時30分からでしたが準備ができてなかったのはちょっと不満です 朝7時くらいにチェックアウトしようとするとロビーのソファーでコンシェルジュが仮眠してましたw

Nous avons eu une inondation dans la salle de bains, d'ou une chute violente en pleine nuit, changement de chambre sans aucune aide, aucune excuse Personne n'est jamais au courant de rien Petit dej très moyen Personne je parle français c'était pourtant Ecrit dans le descriptif Impossible d'avoir une facture en fin de séjour des suppléments Massage médiocre, fait dans l'urgence et la précipitation pourtant quand même onéreux Et avec tout ça facturation de 2 petites bouteilles de coca !! Nul

Great old fashioned character, elegant reception rooms, excellent location close to the Old Town and the Art Nouveau District. Good breakfast and pleasant staff. Our only disappointment was the fourth floor bedrooms which had no windows just skylights so had no view and were claustrophobic.

Not a 5* hotel wouldn't return

This is not a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was the worst we have ever had for a 5 star hotel. Pool freezing so couldn't swim receptionist said meant to be cold which makes no sense for a spa hotel. Fan heater had to be brought up to the room as heating wouldn't work! Pillows terrible quality had to ask for more and bed very uncomfortable. This is not near old town as it states it is around a 20 minute walk! No tea or coffee making facilities in room when we asked they said could bring a kettle but not provide any tea or coffee!! Overall very unimpressed with this hotel and it's services would not return when returning to Riga . Riga is a lovely place however we would not return to this hotel.

Dejligt hotel

Dejligt hotel i gåafstand til centrum. Meget venligt personale. Vi glemte en jakke på værelset som vi opdagede på vej til lufthavnen. Receptionen sendte jakken med en taxa til lufthavnen så vi nåede at få den med. Morgenmaden kunne have været bedre.

A Great Hotel!

I traveled with three of my friends and we were so pleased with our entire experience. The hotel had an old world charm with all the modern amenities. The breakfasts were wonderful with a variety of items you could order directly from the menu. The staff was more than helpful and secure parking was available which was one of our criteria. The location of the hotel to Riga attractions was by far superior to other hotels we looked at.

An oasis of calm in central Riga.

Hotel was really nice, staff excellent and friendly. Very much a boutique hotel and so, quieter than perhaps some of the other hotels in the area such as the Radisson. For a quiet break in a great location in beautiful Riga, this hotel is a good choice. More international choice in relation to the TV stations in the room would be good.
