Cancellation. No hot water. Rudeness. Disrespect.

My wife and I have been to over 40 countries and this was the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in. First of all, the disrespect began when, early in the morning on the day of check-in, we received an email from the hotel saying that they could not accommodate us and that we would be sent to another hotel in the same chain, the Brezza Hotel. However, the hotel did not even have hot water available, an item that we consider basic in any type of accommodation. The elevator did not work and they put us on the third floor. The hotel looked run down with cracked windows in the hallways and worn paintwork, but that was not the worst part. They lied to us saying that the hot water would be restored in 1h and 30m, but that was not what happened. The next day, when I went to ask the receptionist about the problems and pay the "tourist tax", she was very rude, she wrote 30 euros on a piece of paper, insinuating that I couldn't complain, that it wasn't "fair" because they had offered sandwiches (cheap lettuce and ham sandwiches) and I had paid a low price for the stay, even though that was the promotional price I found on the offer website, but I would never have closed the deal under those conditions, especially in a place by the sea. I insisted on paying the "tourist tax" and she wouldn't accept it. Tried to flatter us with these cheap sandwiches the day before, but what we wanted was the basics, to be able to take a hot shower in a clean room and in a minimally decent.

Nuova gestione, top!!
