“Man, I wanted this stat to be magical for my family on Christmas. We were informed via Vrbo that the wood stove would have firewood inside upon arrival to have a fire going. We get there and there is no wood and a big sign that says, “please don’t use fireplace.” I spent most of Christmas Day trying to communicate with Vrbo to no get good support.Then: the bathroom smelt so bad like pee and Mildo. When we went to shower the inside curtain was so filled with mold that we couldn’t even shower in……

“This cabin was just as reflected on the website. It was a rustic cabin on a beautiful property that we were able to explore and walk all over. The owners were so kind to help is out in bind when the alternator went out on our Jeep. There were a group of friends who meet up at the ranch to spend time together who were all friendly and helpful as well. The river is a little walk away from the cabins but when you get there is is a perfect spot to fish or let the dogs play. Our golden……

“Driving cross country with a solid 3 days of driving and a needed place to stay and rest before pushing on. What a fantastic off the beaten path place to rest and relax. Has a cabin feel but modern. A short walk out the front door down to the Rio Grande River to watch wildlife or to sit and have a fire just feet from the rivers edge. Don’t forget to look up once the sun goes down. The fall crisp clear sky reveals some amazing stars. Restaurants and groceries are just few minutes down the……

“Our stay was great - even with being under a flood watch due to the surprising rainy week that the area had. Customer service was responsive about our flood watch related questions and the rental was mostly clean. The one star reduction is that our little dog found some dog treats and a dog bone that were under the couch. She would give 5 stars for that, though we were surprised. Overall it was a great stay! Would recommend Ramon’s for dinner in South Fork. We’d love to stay here again!”

“Loved staying here! Was detached so quiet from neighbors. Loved how quiet everyone was at night. We used the private hot tub every day! Really appreciated the coffee and filters being provided so we didn’t have to run to the store for that. So many towels for the hot tub and bathroom. Wonderfully managed! ”

“The property was beautiful, and the manager was great to work with on short notice. I was unaware it was at a very high altitude and thought it was at the same altitude as Creede. Unfortunately, due to altitude sickness we were only able to stay for 5 hours instead of the four days we had planned. It was a very expensive four hours.”
