“We loved staying here and would have loved to stay longer. The view of the Pacific is stunning, and the house is incredibly unique with its design and indoor/open air layout. The wildlife is amazing with the house being located in the middle of the jungle; we saw cool lizards and a dozen or more monkeys! Highly recommend!”

“Hotels dot com screwed up the reservation, but Jessica at the property did everything she could and made sure I️ have accommodations for my trip. She’s there to help and does a great job at that. The road going to the site is dirt, but that’s expected in CR. The pool at the smaller condos is amazing. Infinity, with fantastic views and the right depth to hang out and enjoy life. Definitely going back there the next time I’m in Uvita!!”

“Beautiful place. The quality of the house is exceptional.
The view is stunning and we had lots of bird sightings sitting on the porch.
Really appreciated the basic spices, coffee already there. Would highly recommend as long as you have 4x4 vehicle. ”

“1) wrong address listed. Took me 20 minutes to figure out that the correct address was listed only in the email. Email wasn’t clear that google maps and Apple Maps was wrong.
2) no communication with the property as we were figuring out the address in the dark
3) villa booked wasn’t provided to us as their was no power in the villa which was initially booked
4) no internet provided during our stay.
5) had to figure out the water supply issue on one of the days of our stay

“My wife and I stayed at Gorda Vista Jungle Villa for a belated honeymoon for one week. It was a magical place, set well into the mountain jungle, almost two miles from the main road. The pictures are accurate but don’t do it justice.
Doug kept in contact with us and met us at the Super Dominical, then escorted us up to the property. It was breathtaking in the limited daylight, and we woke to see the whole property the next morning.
Definitely take advantage of the concierge service with Juli……

“This is a piece of heaven on earth!! Peggy answered every question we had and gave us extra tips as well! Trina and Jorge were amazing and even (for a small fee) picked up some groceries for us and had those for us upon arrival! The villa is absolutely gorgeous and well appointed with everything you could possibly need! We are anxious to return!! ”

“We were a group of three adult females visiting Costa Rica for the first time. The house, property and pool are beautiful. I highly suggest allowing Del to schedule your transportation and excursions. All were flawless. The transportation to and from the airport was worth every penny. Don't be intimidated by the driveway. We rented the car from Del and once Adrian showed us how to navigate the driveway, it was no problem at all, even in the rain and dark. “The Villa Ambiente worked out to be a perfect location for our family to enjoy both a reunion and a celebration of our 50th Wedding Anniversary.There was lots of room for all of us to hang out without being on top of each other, and the pool was a great hit with the 6 children. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the environment was outstanding. The Villa is a real gem and we are so glad that we found it.”

“This house is located way up on the mountain. It has a beautiful view of the Whales tail. From the bedrooms and pool deck. Inside the house is very spacious. Plenty of room for two families. It was just me and my wife. Adri the caretaker is great and will help you out if you need anything. The pool nice but was a bit cold when we were there .You will need a all wheel or 4 wheel deive vehicle to get upthe mountain ”
