“We watched the total solar eclipse 10 feet from our doorstep. We shared it with dozens of people who had come to listen to the band and check out the wonderful antique store that is attached to this property. All of the furnishings and decorations in the Casita are those that have been repurposed from antiques and vintage materials just like those found in the store. This rental has, by far, the nicest decor of any VRBO that we’ve ever stayed in. It’s like staying inside an artists’ creation.”

“Great weekend getaway! Everything about the property itself was fantastic! We would love to visit in the summer so we can swim. Melanie the owner was great at communicating. It’s not far from Fredericksburg. Center Point , is a quiet town so will have to take day trips for exploring. ”

“Nice property overall. Getting the tv to work was a mess. Website shows wine chiller and robes in the room, neither was available. When checking out, clerk did not ask how was your stay? For the price, I expect a bit more. ”

“Beautiful setting along the riverbank. Tranquil area. Love the fire pits, party lights and atmosphere. Great location at the edge of some amazing motorcycle roads. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and bars. Comfortable beds with great linens, good shower pressure and very spacious room. We will be back. Thank you!”

“I stayed in the Treehouse suite for a week in early September. Hosts Vicky and Micky were consummate hosts. The ranch was spacious with delightful critters and Micky was wonderful, taking me on a trail ride and gave me two horse riding lessons, as well as a tour of the bird sanctuary and farm animal encounter. The suite was just big enough for me and my dachshund (who had the time of her life exploring the grounds). It had everything I needed for a rustic country vacation. I only had one issue……

“We loved our stay at the Meyer Hotel. It’s very antique vibe and it’s so cute. We had amazing 24/7 communication via text. It’s the perfect place to relax. Only about 30 minutes from Fredericksburg for food and 30/45 from San Antonio. I will be coming back! We relaxed watching the deer in the evening. The only thing was the fire wasn’t wanting to stay on but other than that it felt VERY safe. I know the town can look very outdated and scary to some but we felt very homey and safe with our car……

“The hotel was really great. Comfy bed and they had a hospitality room with drinks and snacks! It was awesome! The location was also really great. We would definitely stay here again. I would pass on paying extra for breakfast though. The place the voucher was for was more of a bakery and very overpriced. We opted not even to eat there. ”
