“What an incredibly lovely place! Paul, the host/manager(?), was especially accommodating and made an excellent breakfast. The only minor downside is the full-size bed, which is smaller than a queen. Otherwise, highly recommended!”

“Room was super clean. Overall decor is old fashioned - country style but that is intentional. Staff was very attentive. Just my personal opinion is that It felt like I was in another person’ house and not a “paying guest”, so for me that felt kind of weird, so I preferred to be inside the room while I was there, but it was just me, and nothing to do with the hotel.”

“Sadly we were only there for 1 night. We wish our trip was for a couple so we could have enjoyed more of Bryson City and the Calhoun’s hotel. So very quaint! Lovely big porch with rocking chairs. The morning we checked out it was raining. So we sat on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the rain. ”

“The Inn was very quaint and homey. Toni was very welcoming and the food was excellent! Our room was decorated very authentic, however, the room and the attached bath were very small. Loved the location as it was very quiet and had many spots to sit and enjoy nature, including the rooster, and it's just a few minutes from town. I highly recommend the Folkestone Inn.”

“The property is conveniently located and near the downtown Bryson area. The home was super clean and very comfortable. The host and her family were so kind and accommodating. We arrived in time for my little one to pet some of the animals which was an added bonus for my little. Amy was an amazing host. She gave us a ride to the train depot and picked us up, so I wouldn't have to pay for parking. Amy even saved us dinner once we made it back to her home that night. That was a very thoughtful and……

“The accommodations were perfect for us! We came to ride The Dragon, Foothills Parkway, Cherahola Skyway. We had a blast. Loved the location! It was perfect for what we needed.”

“When you think of staying at a "bikers hotel" you don't really have high expectations. This hotel is NOT your typical bikers hotel. The hosts were informative and communicated well. The room was clean and so cutely decorated. The theme was awesome. We loved it so much we will visit again.”

“So I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel the need to let others know for pure accuracy. The room was great; had water pressure issues but they were working on it. The tv barely had cable; no Netflix or roku or anything like that. Laundry room? The ac unit kept cutting in and out. The parking was changed daily, we were here for 5 days and every day Peking was altered. Even with all this I would have stayed here again. However the owner made our stay unbearable. Everyone else there was so……

“Our cabin was perfect for two people & it had everything we needed. It was decorated beautifully & the bed was very comfortable. Our location was great. If you are looking for a cabin with an outdoor space to hang out, this isn't the cabin for you. But, if you will be out & about all day & evening & just need a place to cook a couple meals & sleep it is great.”

“My wife and I just spent the weekend in unit 165 and it was just perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. In all honesty, we only spent probably around 30 hours in the room from Thursday until Sunday. We were out and about the rest of the time. With that being said, it was everything that was described and very good communication with the property manager. We will be back.”
