“It was good stay overall but there was pet hairs all over the property which I didn't like ”

“Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink.……

“My wife and I are very experienced self catering renters and have a good basis for comparisons and we can, and have to one another, state that this is one of our top three stays, in terms of quality of the property, location, service, cleanliness and all other aspects of using a vacation rental. Our only regret is that with our present 16 day visit to the U.K. (yes, we are Americans) that we didn't spend more of it in this property in Mevagissey. “Sandpipers is a beautiful place to stay. It was neat and clean and had everything we needed. It is over 3 levels and the stairs are quite steep. The cottage is very central in the village. Peter sent clear instructions re getting the key and arranged a parking spot for the car. It was about 5-20 mins walk to the parking area.Looe is a very quaint fishing village with lots of interesting shops and a beautiful little harbour. We only wish we could have stayed longer!”

“We had a lovely time. It is on a working farm so be prepared for smells and very narrow roads. We had several encounters with tractors on single lane tracks.”

“Having already visited this house last year with family I took on the organisation of this holiday recommending this venue to a group of ladies who were not all known to each other - so was slightly nervous as to how it would go but This house does not disappoint in any shape or form … it left all members of our group speechless on arrival! And everyone bonded immediately. The layout of both the bedrooms -( all with sea views!) and the living space is exceptional not to mention the views and the……

“A beautiful little cottage, which was really well equipped, we had everything we could need, especially as the weather wasn’t kind ! A lovely hamper to greet us with homemade DELICIOUS jam; and even treats for our dogs… Lesley and James are close by should you need anything & they even helped us out with a pot of sugar that we’d forgotten… Polperro is a MUST visit nearby, beautiful little fishing village with some lovely shops and restaurants…. Bodmin prison also worth a visit our friends……

“Ian was very helpful given Vrbo platform comms was awful (App may be better). Had a lovely couple of days stay and excellent local dog walking and Beach a short walk too. Cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Well positioned for local coastal adventuring. Would recommend arriving in day light as the car park is not lit and access for unloading everything was not that straightforward! Otherwise a great stay.”

“The house has a view of the River Fowey from the living room and the MBR! The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with COMFORTABLE couches and beds. We slept like babies here! It is at the end of the little town of Fowey near the car park ( very convenient if you have a car). Being in Fowey is like going back in time.. it is beautiful, with only one tiny one way street. No car noises! Wonderful restaurants, shops, grocery stores nearby for cooking at the house in the lovely kitchen.……
