Relaxing
We were in town for appointments at Mayo Clinic, this apartment is close to Mayo, set up as a beautiful, relaxing place to be in between appointments. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. It was easy to find and very we’ll maintained, I would choose to stay here in the future.

Our stay at the St Augustine Mint House in Rochester, MN
This is a very nice lower level unit in a quiet neighborhood. It is very clean and has comfortable living space. I was nicely surprised by the kitchen. It has higher end appliances and stone countertops. We were in town to have a procedure done at Mayo (so that was not much fun), but the Mint House made our visit much nicer. It is about a 15 minute walk to Mayo's Methodist campus. My only concern about renting this unit is the bathroom has two pocket doors that are about 22" to 24" wide. If you are north of 300 lbs., you may have a tight fit.

Great Respite
We were in Rochester for a few days for medical appointments including surgery for my wife who was diagnosed with breast cancer in late December. It was very to have a place to go that brought a semblance of home and normalcy during a stressful and challenging time in our lives. Would definitely stay again!

Cute and cozy
This property is an older home that’s completely redone with upgraded everything! The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are all roomy and have everything you need. The home was very clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing - like sleeping on a cloud with super soft linens. The garage was a huge bonus too. But what I really appreciated was the quick response from our host. She as extremely helpful. I would recommend her vacation rental to any and all! You will not be disappointed!

Restful Oasis
The St. Augustine Mint main level apartment is an absolute oasis. Peaceful, comfortable, clean, restful, and welcoming place of respite. Linens, fluffy towels, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, and a clean laundry room on the same level. The rooms are well-lit, with its own heat a/c control. The recliner is optimal for clinic recovery or post-visit comfort! The neighborhood is friendly and well-kept. The property is beautifully maintained with lovely landscaping and a garage for your smaller car. The property host is very kind, responsive, and provides far more welcoming details than stated. One adult or a couple, will find this property to be a perfectly wonderful place to stay. Not quite close-enough to walk to the clinic, or businesses, but only a few blocks away. It is truly a restful oasis. Will stay here again!

Perfect!!
We needed a place to stay during some Mayo clinic care and the Mint House far surpassed expectations. Neighborhood was quiet. Garage big enough for our suv (door opener provided). The place is the perfect layout and with all new appliances and amenities. The bed was so comfortable and cozy, kitchen had everything needed, bathroom modern and set up wonderfully, living room spacious and appeared the whole place was remodeled recently - so clean! Hard to complain about TOO fluffy of towels as they were huge and top shelf - but only 3 washcloths for 8 days was our only complaint. Denise was attentive to our texts and calls and the perfect host! Definitely recommend.

Cleanliness deserves 10 stars! Location to appointments at Mayo was perfect. Neighbors a little noisy- looks like fence is in the works (this will help). Bed could use a new mattress. Owner was beyond helpful and easy to reach. Overall- very pleased with the rental and would use again if needed.

This was a great place to stay if you are visiting Rochester or have appts at Mayo. I was having a procedure and extended stay. The house had excellent internet so my husband could work. The recliner was great to rest and recover in. The blankets were big and cozy. Everything was clean and convenient. I would just say bring extra washcloths unless you plan to do towels regularly. We very much were pleased with our stay here. Denise was great in responding quickly to questions. Cute patio to sit outside. 5 star for sure!!

The house was nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen appliances came in handy. Pre surgery we did some fun things from the list Denise had. Post surgery at Mayo Clinic, I could rest and recuperate easily, especially with no stairs involved. My partner had a small burn accident for which Denise promptly got us neosporin and band aids when I requested her. Overall, Denise is a helpful host and the house is pleasant and enjoyable.

Good Experience
This was a very nice property. I was recovering from knee surgery and it worked perfectly for us. The host even provided us with a replacement chair for me to use in my recovery. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

This was a nice house. There was a lot we loved. The bed was super comfortable. We got LOTS of sleep. The Martha Stewart pots and pans were so fabulous I'm buying myself a set. The couch and chair were comfortable. The blankets in the basket came in handy. The bathroom is HUGE and beautiful. The gift basket with trail mix and chocolate was a nice touch. I would recommend this place to any couple. We stayed Friday thru Memorial day.

What the Dr ordered
Walking in to soft music, squeaky clean everything, fresh paint and decor, off-street parking and quiet streets was what we needed after a very long day. Well appointed kitchen! Most comfy bed I think I’ve ever experienced. Host was willing to try to add an extra day if needed (which it wasn’t). We’ll be back for sure.

An outstanding property
This home is a neat, clean and very comfortable oasis just outside of downtown. It was a pleasant 12-15 minute walk to the downtown hotel/Mayo Clinica area, and only about 8 minute walk from the Civic Center. The house had everything I needed for the weekend while I was in town supporting our swim team. I look forward to returning so I can stay here again!

Host had lights flipped on in the rental with classical music playing upon arrival. She was extremely responsive to questions, and when an issue arose while there (unexpected construction right next door), she was quick to offer solutions, even being willing to assist in finding another rental. The property pictured is not exactly the place we stayed. The owner had a number of VRBO sites in Rochester and asked us to stay in an alternate, upgraded at no cost, site since it worked better for another customer that she had. We were happy to do that and it worked out great for both parties. Bottom line, only good things to say about the owner and the place we rented from her in Rochester.

It was a short drive to Mayo Clinic, which was the main reason I booked this rental. The rental is the lower unit of a duplex, with a 2 car garage. The upper unit is also rented on VRBO so you need to park on left side of garage. The bathroom and kitchen were remodeled and overall the unit had a very modern feel to it. What I appreciated the most was the cleanliness and that Denise was so prompt and responsive - thank you again for the warm blankets!
