“The Foothills Motel was very adequate for our needs. We were in Auburn for a family wedding and only needed a convenient place as a "home base". A very nice family diner, Sweet Peas, is just a block away and became our breakfast and lunch spot. We were pleased to find that there was a small fridge and microwave in both rooms. My mother had one of the few ADA rooms which was very comfortable for her. The only suggestions for improvement are the addition of a chair, especially in the larger room,……

“For the price it was what you wpuld expect. The layout reminded me of an old Motel 6. The blackout curtains were open on the end so light so came in. They didn't fold or curve towards the wall. The worst part was the shelf above the hangers. I refused to put anything on it. It was nasty dirty like it hasn't been properly cleaned for over a year. The young lady which checked us in was not pleasant to talk to. I said, "we have a reservation" and she quickly replied, "I know you do." How……

“The price was right. Easy to roll bikes into the larger than average room. Bathroom was clean enough.”

“Room inside designed really modern style. Not like the outside looking. Not really spacious but big enough. Hardwood floor which is really clean and nice. The only one concern is that the room card/key needs to be reactivated too often. ”

“I love this motel the management is really helpful and staff is available 24/7. The rooms are cozy and spacious and the housekeeping is always reliable. I really enjoy the motel for numerous reasons. The staff gives you your privacy and they do not come in your room while you are away. This motel is close to public transportation as a number of great food places. I will pick this motel over any high end hotel. The price is affordable and the entire experience was enjoyable. I truly recommend……

“This was our second stay at this cottage. We have friends we visit in Sacramento. It is so peaceful! The lovely grounds and welcoming porch make it a perfect place to relax. The kitchen has everything, the sheets are great, wonderful views of the garden plus wild turkeys! Just lovely.”

“Overall a very good deal for the money. The house had every amenity for a comfortable stay including a large covered patio which was really handy because it rained several days during my stay. The fence surrounding the backyard appears to be held up by posts attached to the tree. It creaks and moves when windy. Also, the immediate neighborhood surrounding the house isn’t great but the convenience to other things to do is nice.”
