“My husband I stayed four nights in May 2024. The property is really nice. The deck has great views of the sunrise and the hammock swing is so relaxing to sit in and read a book. The house is clean, comfortable and has everything you need and more. There are kayaks, a paddle board, indoor and outdoor games. One afternoon it was raining so we played monopoly which was fun! I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family and I hope to return again someday.”

“Excellent property, my family had such a terrific time. Young ones fished, caught several fish and swam from the break of dawn till dark. Only universal complaint was no drapes to mitigate afternoon sun in the main part of property. Otherwise, highly recommend this place for a family stay.”

“The property is right on the water. Everything that they advertise is true. My husband and I kayak and there a was a nice spot by the house that was perfect for getting n the water. Everything in the house was nice. It’s a quiet neighborhood. You do have to travel down red dirt roads to get to property. “My husband and I stayed here for our 15-year Anniversary. It was a nice little getaway for us. The house itself is very nice and its tastefully decorated. We spend every morning and evening on the front porch. We really enjoyed this tiny home. The only thing I would suggest is to replace the mattress in the bedroom. Overall were very pleased with this property.”

“This is a very lovely home in a beautiful setting on the lake. My wife and I were looking for someplace to just get away and relax. This place fit the bill perfectly. The grounds are well maintained making for such a peaceful setting. You can sit on the well built dock and fish, or just enjoy the view and serenity like we did. Inside, the recliners are a nice treat to sit and watch the large TV or just enjoy the view outside. The beds are comfortable also.”

“This house is located on the Ellison Creek Reservoir (aka Lone Star Lake). It’s a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 full bath home. The kitchen is fully stocked and it has a stackable washer and dryer. The kitchen had plenty of items to help with cooking including spices, tin foil, and ziplock bags. The deck is a true gem. We sat out there and had our coffee every morning. “There is some vagueness in the property listing about the size and usage of the property. The property manager greeted me upon arrival and was friendly and helpful. He advised us that the lower and larger pond is a private waters club lake and was off limits. We had full access to one large pond and a smaller pond each of which containing all you can catch 1/4-2lb bass. We checked in at 4pm on a friday with great weather caught atleast 30 bass in two hours time. On saturday it rained allday, but……

“We enjoyed our stay at this property in Winnsboro. It was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. We did have a little trouble finding it when we got in late at night due to our flights being canceled and delayed due to weather (private driveway not marked), but other than that, it was perfect!”

“We rented for our family to stay as we were attending a niece’s wedding in Mount Pleasant. A beautiful home that was actually nicer in person than the photos projected. Comfy furnishings, an easy kitchen to navigate and very comfortable beds. The linens were a very nice quality. Our Host was responsive and helpful. We had 5 adults and a great weekend together.”
