「This place is lovely. Clean, pretty, obviously loved and cared for by the owner. The bedding and towels are luxury quality and there are so many towels, pillows, blankets. So many dishes, pots, utensils , even a water dispenser. Entertainment inside and out. Large TVs, books, games, fire pit. The landscaping is like going to a small botanical garden. I didn't have a chance to go to the private beach. The owner was a pleasure to interact with.」

「The place wasn’t bad, it was close to what we needed for the weekend. There was no curtain on the front door which was a little odd since the home owners were on property and could see right in if they walked past. While the place wasn’t “dirty” there were a lot of flies especially in the bathroom. I’d say over 20 flies. Overall the stay wasn’t bad in anyway but I probably would book something else if I’m ever in the area again.」

「The host was extremely attentive to any questions or needs. Excellent and immediate communication. Good, quiet location between Islip airport and Port Jefferson. The size of the unit was very adequate for two people. Bathroom was clean and adequately stocked with towels and wash cloths. The reason for 2 stars is we thought the apartment was not very clean from floor to ceiling. This apartment has huge potential to be very cute. In my option, it needs an entire over haul.」

「It worked for us while we were at the US Open. We were gone ever day, and some days didn’t get back till late. We ate a few meals in the apartment, and had enough kitchen accoutrements to handle our meal. The shower worked well and we had enough towels, although they were old. Our bed and pillows and bed linens worked well for us. The AC worked well, although it wasn’t a hot week. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores etc. nearby. This is...

「While we received multiple confirmations of our reservation, including the morning we were to check in, the property manager never sent us check in instructions, even after we emailed asking for them. Then, after spending over an hour with multiple calls to VRBO customer service, who also couldn’t get ahold of the property manager, we arrived at the location. There was a 4ft high, 10ft wide heap of garbage in the front yard and looking in through the windows it was apparent the house was under...

「Upon arrival, there was a notice of non payment of almost 4000 from the electric company on the door so I was concerned I would lose electric. The grounds seemedover grown and unkept. There was no TV, no hot water in the kitchen with a brokenhot water knob which would have needed a wrench. Although it had in room air conditioners vented outside, they were taped in place with open air coming inside. One of the open areas actually had live tree vines coming inside which I pulled out. 「I left 5* because communication with host was superb. Unfortunately, we did not get to stay there due an issue on our end. From what I experienced with the host and the pictures, I have no reason to believe the home would've been less than perfect. Top notch host and I thank him for always being in touch, from before we supposed to be there, all the way thru, he made sure to reach out.」

「It all starts with the host, Louis, who is outstanding. He allowed my brother to do a walkthrough of the property months before we showed up. Louis communicates effectively and efficiently, and responds immediately. The fridge was initially stocked with breakfast essentials, there was wine in the dining room table and beverages in the small fridge. There were towels and bathrobes in every closet, and essentials in every bathroom and shower. This property is everything it’s advertised to be, a...
