Taken a few ago on my tour of Italy. The photo is just above head height as the place was packed full of tourists
La bella Pantheon, the temple of all Gods still stands at the very same spot as nearly 2000 years ago. The buildings and palazzos in the surrounding area are old as well, but there is no comparison to Pantheon - it almost looks out of place due to it's age.
The Pantheon is a former Roman temple, now a church, in Rome, Italy, on the site of an earlier temple commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD). The present building was completed by the emperor Hadrian and probably dedicated about 126 AD. He retained Agrippa's original inscription, which has caused confusion over its date of construction as the original Pantheon burned down, so it is not certain when the present one was built.

The room was huge, clean and comfortable - with separate hall area to separate the bedroom from the bathroom. The decor is classic and grand, and the hotel is very well-maintained. The staff were helpful and polite. There were a good range of choices at breakfast.
