“This place is amazing! The property was immaculate and very inviting. Cozy and peaceful home away from home, and stocked with everything you need for your stay. The host was very friendly and communicative if there were any problems (there weren't). Sitting on the porch swing enjoying the beautiful views and looking for wildlife, as well as enjoying s'mores in the firepit were our favorite things to do. We were just passing through for the night, but plan to bring our children next time and……

“The cadin was what I expected. True to the pictures. It was very clean. I chose this place to get closer to God and that was what i got. My only suggestion to the property's owners is that the screening around the porch be fixed. It let in some yellow jackets and a couple got in the house. Would not be good if somebody staying there got stung and was allergic to them. Overall, I would go back.”

“Once booked, I had nothing but great communication with Karen the owner. She left a lovely note about the history of the home and how it has been in her family since it was built. It was built in 1902 and is an older home, but it gives a great feeling of what it is to live in the hills of West Virginia. Her Mom welcomed us and visited to make sure we had everything we needed. Such a lovely woman and a veteran made our visit even more special. If you want to stay in something modern, this would……

“This was one of the Best Places I've ever vacationed. EVERYTHING was clean nice and excellent and we had a Phenomenal time. We were there honeymooning and the owner actually left a Bottle of Champagne and a congratulations card on the table. What a Blessing”

Cannot over emphasize the need to do research on places to explore while there, because this cabin is in a very rural area. Amy's recommendations on where we should visit meant everything. “A few best friends from high school looked for somewhere in the center of where we all live and picked this home for our getaway. We were a little disappointed with the weather - but absolutely no disappointment with the rental. Walked into a clean and clean smelling house that was more than what was expected. From the cozy living room to the stocked kitchen to the roomy bedrooms, we truly enjoyed our stay. The wind kept us from sitting outside but loved the swing on the porch and the area……
