"The Apple Shack was the perfect getaway. Property is well-maintained and very clean. Communication with the host was easy, open, and helpful. The grill and kitchenette were just right. We prepared all our meals right there. The hot tub and sky views were the highlights. Definitely recommend!"

"We wanted a place “to get away from it all.” We got our wish and then some. The cabin is beautifully decorated and clean yet so very comfortable and quiet tucked into the hills of gorgeous Southeastern Illinois. We spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the cabin. We also got out and saw some of the sites and natural beauty of the area. The hostess thinks of everything. We will be back."
