Magical stay in Rosières

We had a simply wonderful stay at the property. The house is incredible - lots of space inside for us as a family of 6. The bedrooms all had air conditioning which was brilliant and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The outside space, with lots of sun and shade to sit in, was amazing and the private pool a real highlight for us all.

Perfect villa

A perfect villa for our family holiday with a peaceful location and fabulous views from the terrace (photos don’t do it justice). Large, immaculately kept pool and great table tennis table. Nothing to fault indoors either !

Back again and even better

We were struggling to make a decision on where to book in 2025 and in the end we decided to go back to this wonderful place ..... and it didn't disappoint.In the middle of a heatwave the house and pool and air-con in the bedrooms made this just fine and sitting on the balcony in the evenings watching the thunderstorms over the Cevennes and Ardeche mountains was magical, you will not find a more perfect place to stay.The place is well equipped, clean and the hosts made all the arrival and departure easy, I cannot praise them enough .....Don't hesitate .... book it! it's fantastic ...........

Thank you for an amazing stay

We enjoyed an amazing week in July in this villa. We have been lucky enough to have stayed in villas throughout France and Spain, and this villa has by far had the best views. I found myself many a time just sitting relaxing enjoying the view - and there is lots of outdoor space and seating spots to do so. The pool and accompanying sitting area are also very very good. I hadn’t read carefully enough to realise it was a salt water pool - but please don’t let this put you off! The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and plenty space for games and swimming. The indoor space and storage are very generous. Independent air con units in the bedrooms were appreciated. The living space is very impressive and the Villa is one of the best equipped we have stayed in. It feels more like a home than a holiday let. The photos are very good but don’t quite do the Villa or view justice! In terms of location we found it very good - I expect it is walkable to Rosieres/ Joyeuse but we were happy to drive. Rosieres has a good supermarket (not hyper market) and various bakeries. Joyeuse was a nice find (we’ve never visited in our previous visits to the Ardeche) and had some nice bars and restaurants. We also visited Balazuc, Ruoms, Vogue, canoed the Ardeche and visited the grottos. Laurent and his wife were very welcoming and attentive. Their communication was excellent.

Just Wow!

Found it without any problems, great communication with hosts, house is AMAZING! really great inside and outside spaces, facilities are all there and work well. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, hills in the distance. Just such a beautiful house in a beautiful place. Pool is great and the pool area is just sheer luxury. Did not want to leave. Plenty to do in the area within a 30 minute drive, want to be back there now .....

The House of Colours - highly recommended

We had a wonderful time at the Maisonette de Coulour and did not want to leave. Very quiet south facing with lovely views over vineyards and the hills in the distance. A large living room with a well stocked kitchen at one side had double doors onto a covered terrace with a dining table seating 6 and providing shelter from the sun - but there was a separate table and 6 chairs further out for sun lovers with a table tennis table at the side. The large pool was excellent, very clean and refreshing and had a covered area at one end with comfortable seating. There are 3 good bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The property is located up a long winding road which rises 70m in just over a kilometer from the town of Rosieres. This has a nice restaurant (but only open evenings Thursday to Sunday) a good boulangerie and an Intermarche and Lidl on the edge of town.

Villa magnifiqye très spacieuse au calme avec piscine et vue superbe

Nous avons passés de superbes vacances la villa très propre et manginfique vue au calme et très jolie sur les vignes derriere et devant piscine le tout sans vis a vus pas de maison ....Intérieur reste frais et très cocoon .....Les lits sont très comfortables et chambre jolie maison décorée avec goût ....Piscine a bonne température .....Tout etait excellent ....Il y a de jolis coins a voir pas tres loin des rivieres cest tres pittoresque et des chouettes villages tout mignons ....Si vous aimez la plage a 2h de route il y a le Grau du roi avec petit port etc .....Voila nous y retournerons ....Magnifuque

Asolute Empfehlung!

Eines der besten Ferienhäuser, das wir bisher gemietet haben! Das ausführliche Inserat mit den zahlreichen Fotos hat uns direkt angesprochen und alles entspricht der Beschreibung und den Bildern: Tolle Lage oberhalb von Rosieres, super Blick, Ruhe, sehr gute Ausstattung, alles blitzsauber bei Ankunft, Kommunikarion mit den Vermietern exellent, prima Basis für Ausflüge an die Ardeche und Umgebung. Hier merkt man, dass sich die Besitzer persönlich um ihr Haus und die Mieter kümmern und nicht irgendeine Agentur. Leider haben wir Laurent und Noelle nicht persönlich kennengelernt, da wir zu anderen Zeiten an- und abgereist sind, aber alles war perfekt organisiert und liebevoll vorbereitet von ihnen. Von der Terasse hat man einen genialen Blick auf die Weinberge und die umliegenden Berge. Rund um das Haus hat man viel Platz und Ruhe und man findet immer ein schattiges oder sonniges Plätzchen, je nach Geschmack. Der beheizte Pool hat eine klasse Länge und ist uneinsehbar. Besonders toll fanden wir die Ausstattung der Küche mit dem 6-flammigen Gasherd, ausreichend Töpfen, scharfen Messern und allem was das Herz des Hobbykochs höher schlagen lässt. Die Nachbarschaft ist total ruhig, ab und zu kräht mal ein Hahn oder ein paar Wanderer kommen vorbei. Wir haben fast alles mit den Fahrrädern (ohne "E") erledigt und die Gegend ist toll für Radtouren auf den kleinen Sträßchen. Cher Laurent et Noelle, on a passé des très bonnes vacances, merci beaucoup pour tous à vous!!

La maison des couleurs

On a passé de très bonnes vacances à la maison des couleurs! Une maison très propre, tout ce que vous pouvez d' avoir besoin est là, une vue fantastique, tranquille mais proche de boulangerie, supermarché,.. Laurent et Noëlle sont vraiement des gens super sympa qui sont fier de vous montrer leur rêve. Des gens avec un bon coeur dans le coeur de l' Ardèche. Maison pas très propre à l’arrivée (toile d’araignée, sanitaire sale, toilette sale), piscine vraiment pas propre et pas de transat autour de la piscine comme dis, terrasse et piscine séparée par la maison donc pas pratique, maison mal isolée beaucoup de bruit la nuit, soirée dans le voisinage tout les jours jusqu’à pas d’heure, arrivée et départ pas pratique, propriétaire mal honnête et pas correct !

Beautiful

La Maison du Coleurs est une maison fantastique. Les photos ne lui rendent pas justice. Elle est propre et très bien équipée. La piscine est grande et très propre et, lorsque nous y sommes allés début juillet, elle était rafraîchissante et fraîche par rapport au soleil ardéchois très chaud. La vue depuis le balcon est à couper le souffle. La maison dispose de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. La maison est située sur une longue colline sinueuse et escarpée avec de magnifiques vignobles tout autour et une vue sur les montagnes et les villes lointaines. Un grand supermarché se trouve à proximité, mais une voiture est vivement conseillée. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit. Les propriétaires sont polis et gentils et ont même laissé un cadeau de bienvenue composé d'eau, de vin et de fruits. Nous serions ravis de revenir un jour.

Hôtes très accueillants et professionnels. La maison est très propre et bien agencée. Les espaces extérieurs sont juste parfaits: superbe piscine, arbres fruitiers, oliviers, grands espaces, joli barbecue bien placé, terrain de pétanque, etc Plusieurs terrasses/tables à choisir selon le moment de la journée/l'ensoleillement. La maison est bien décorée et fonctionnelle, la literie est très bonne, tout y est, rien à redire. L'emplacement est exceptionnel, au calme, vue panoramique sur les vignes. Une vraie opportunité pour se re-sourcer dans un environnement idéal pour des vacances.
