There were a large group of us and the house fit our needs perfectly while giving us an atmosphere that we could relax in and enjoy the natural beauty of Rough River. “The place is beautiful. Peaceful and quiet. Wonderful place for relaxing, sitting around a fire. But access to the water was difficult unless you have a boat and trailer. My husband wanted to fish but access to the water is down a tree and rock covered hill. Couldn't case due to trees amd branches. The dock that is available to guess says no fishing so Couldn't fish. My husband was disappointed. I did enjoy some canoeing but bringing the canoe back up the hill is difficult. Overall it was a nice……

“The kayaks and watercraft were awesome. Plenty of boats for our large group. There were also plenty of beds, and the kitchen was well stocked. A few issues with the accuracy of the listing when compared to the house rules left at the house.”

“This property was the perfect place as a home base for our sons wedding! We had several out of state family members coming in and the wedding venue was 45 min from the closest large city. However Mining Camp was only 15 minutes from the venue! To have my whole family under one roof was priceless! And we even had our two Aussies with us! “My friend and I stayed here for three months while under a travel nurse assignment. This house is less than 20 minutes from the hospital. We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and spacious. Angela was the perfect host. Very attentive accoomadating of our needs. If you're looking for a place where you can relax and get away, then this is it.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Everything was very clean, well decorated and very cozy. Wish the lighting would have been a bit brighter. The kitchen was well stocked. We really appreciated all of the tupperware containers, to store leftovers in. The lake level at rough river was low. There was also a lot of floating debris at certain times, making it hard to boat or tube. I would suggest putting a note in the manual about what day trash day is, along with providing one or two more……

“The house is a little tight, but being able to go out on the deck makes up for it. The view of the Lake is stunning. Neighborhood is quiet. There's a nice loop for a morning walk. Honestly don't see 10 people in this place, but a couple of couples it works. Not much to do in the area, but going to relax and enjoy the quiet and peace of the lake, it's a good place.”

“Our family of 7 enjoyed a long weekend in this beautiful lakehouse! Cozy little home with plenty of space for all of us. Cute decor, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of towels and extra bedding if needed. The yard is nice with so many trees and the fire pit was perfect for the evenings. Lake access was just a short walk away. And the kayaks provided were alot of fun for my older sons. We enjoyed our time here and will return again. Highly……
