「Beautiful property on the canal. Three large windows that can be opened to let in the breeze. Very quiet, picturesque area. Walking distance from all major sites. Very welcoming staff walked us to the room and showed us around. 」

「If you want to be a little away from the crowds, want large rooms, quiet, and superb staff, then come here. Oh, and excellent breakfast. Reception and dining room is shared with neighbouring pensione: this works perfectly—we got a stay in a private area with all the services of a hotel. Will return for sure. Lovely also out of season in misty October with distant fog horns on the Giudecca canal.」
