The hotel was very conviently located to downtown Ennis. It was a bit of a challenge to get to, but nothing hard once you figured out where the entrance is. Room was really clean.

The dirtiest home I’ve ever been in. Even ceiling mold approximately 18” in diameter in one of the bedroom closets. Master toilet didn’t work, washer and dryer filled with wet towels, some bathrooms didn’t have towels, bed linen was dirty, coffee drip machine and toaster are the only kitchen appliances. ...

I can't say enough about Maggie's lake house. Very clean, organized, comfortable, and well stocked. I have already recommended this house to the locals I met. I would definitely stay here again if my travels crossed paths with Gun Barrel City. Thank you, Maggie! Vickie's BBQ is a must!
