“This place was fantastic. The pictures don’t do it justice. Secluded and quit on the lake but 30 minutes from Muskegon and Lake Michigan. Host was very responsive and we had everything we needed. The little private beach was nice for taking a dip and the dock and rowboat are a nice touch for fishermen. I caught a Northern Pike, some sunnies, and several bass. One was 3 lbs. Plenty of room for parking and enough room in the house and deck for a nice family reunion (within reason). Will stay again……

“Check-in went well after we got the lock figured out and we unlocked the opportunity to make some amazing family memories! Host was attentive to anything that came up, the house worked perfectly for us, kitchen is well stocked with supplies and super helpful to have some items for smaller children. The screen porch is great for family game time and the deck looking out over the woods is so peaceful. The firepit was relaxing to use and the couch is great for napping after a day at the beach. ……

“The house is so inviting! It fit our family very well. House was clean and stocked well with necessities. Plenty of space and cozy spots to curl up and read. We enjoyed all being around the table in the evening playing games. Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful clean beach with clear water. Very quiet, friendly area. Easy access to local attractions. Owner was easy to contact and very accommodating. Would definitely consider another vacation at this location. ”

“Cottage was very nice and well kept. Ample parking close and convenient for loading and unloading. Great amenities and we enjoyed our stay. However, it is NOT a three bedroom cottage. A pull out sofa in the living room with people crossing back and forth to the bathroom or kitchen does not a third bedroom make. May be ok if you have kids or teens but we were three adults expecting privacy for each of us. And for some reason I misunderstood that there is no direct beach access from this location……

“The house was great with plenty of room. The massage chair was a hit. There was a trampoline dock for the kids to play on. The view of the dunes was stunning. Silver Lake is so beautiful of an area, we love the dunes.”

“We had an amazing time at this little house on the lake. It easily held our family of 7, plus our sweet golden retriever. We all had so much fun kayaking around the lakes (pup included), lounging in the yard and relaxing in the house. ”
