This was am amazing stay whilst on a 3 day cycling tour on the East Coast. The staff were amazing - helpful, kind and attentive. The room was spacious, clean and the private hot spring in the room was just perfect after a long day on the bikes. There was free pour over coffee tasting, a delicious evening buffet and just the best breakfast I've had throughout my 3 weeks in Taiwan. There was a swimming pool (we did not use it) and peaceful grounds to wander round. I can't rate this property highly enough - and would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful property with pool and hot springs. Our room had a private outdoor hot springs tub and very cute robes. It was wonderful! Hosts were very kind and provided all kinds of snacks and light refreshments, which is great because you are a a few miles out of town. Great for bike tourists and they also rent bikes to ride around the local bike paths.

Breakfast was prepared well by the staff. Toast and drinks are self-serve. The dining area views of the mountains are gorgeous. The private hot spring tub in the room was so relaxing for my sore muscles. The design of the building allows privacy. The overall feel of the place was relaxing, contemplative, and rejuvenating.

It’s a perfect getaway spot. Love the tranquillity with no other hostels/people around. The breakfast was decent and flavorful. The favourite thing to do there is of course the private open-air bath.

Great facility with beautiful surrounding environment. There were snacks and DYI hand-pour coffee in late afternoon, enough for a light dinner. Even a campfire to roast marshmallows. We enjoyed the outdoor private hot spring in our room backyard.

Chill place

The water in the swimming pool is cool. But the hot spring is good. People can play in either one, depending on their preference.

Check in process was not great as the afternoon front desk attendant at the time gave a poor reflection of the property. Attendant was not friendly to new guests. Disappointed at the level of service provided. However, staff encountered throughout the remainder of the stay was accommodating and polite. Breakfast was very good each day, with different Chinese Breakfast variations each day. Room had plumbing issues such as toilet not having water to flush or water not draining at wash sink. Room cleanliness could improve as we found previous room guest’s used Nespresso Pods still in the room.
