“This year, I have slept on multiple beds in multiple countries. Colombia, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Jordan, Sri Lanka, and Ella Green Cottages had the best mattress I've had all year. My first night at Ella Green Cottages was literally the best night of sleep that I had in months. Also, whenever I needed anything, the employees immediately stopped doing whatever they were doing and saw to my needs. Best customer service I experienced in the country. ”

“这个酒店是我们这次旅程中最难忘的酒店！当我们晚上7点到达时，发现酒店在山底下，要穿越3-4km的山路，而且要坐缆车下去！太惊险了！而女儿则兴奋得无法形容！早上起来一片光明，你发现你居然睡在森林的溪边，巨大的玻璃房，与森林融为一体！早上可以看见5-6只孔雀在树枝上求爱舞蹈！超棒的待客如宾的服务，虽然酒店只提供素食，但讲究的西餐礼遇，加上星空与篝火，伴着印度的音乐，确实是极致浪漫的！当然也要有思想准备：不要太晚到达酒店，不要依赖WIFI，不要总担心充电问题，不要荷求热水服务，就当来大自然寻求冒险与浪漫！”

“Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Be sure to try the special Cinnamon Infused Ice Tea – it’s also lovely with some lemon gin in the evening! The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall……

“Toted as being one of the most remote hotels in SL the hotel did not disappoint. Fabulous location and well run for such a remote site. You certainly got a sense of the rainforest by the time you got there. Our container was comfortable and the bar and dinning rooms spacious. As vegetarians we were a little bored with curry and rice yet again but it was nice not to have to face another buffet dinner as dinner was served to you. “La Pentera is a unique property and it is conveniently located around 30 minutes drive to the entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. Our host is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations and making sure we have the best time in the property. The evening walk around the lake area is awesome, and the hammocks, swings and mini rock climb is nice too. We had our best Sri Lankan cuisine in this resort, the chicken curry is full of flavours and spices. Definitely recommend……

“This was an experience like no other, an amazing location. These are eco-lodges, so they are basic, if you want 5* luxury this isn't for you, but you'd be missing out. The views are amazing, sitting on the balcony looking out to the lake in the distance. Everything is taken care of, you have torches and umbrellas. You are so far from anyone else it is lovely and quiet (apart from the wildlife!) We always had hot water from the solar panels. The bathroom was clean but basic. Food was great,……
