This place is a dump! Inside the minimal "motel" room, you’ll find bugs crawling across the floor, nats flying around inside the room, multiple knuckle punches in the dented walls, a sink that backs-up and doesn't drain, mold growing in the shower, black strands of someone else's hair strung across the pillowcases -- this is what you’ll encounter "if" you choose this menial motel. Pick a different place and stay away from the California Inn & Suites in Rancho Cordova near Sacramento. This place meets the true definition of a dump! Shame on Expedia for even allowing it to be posted on their website.

It was our last option, literally every hotel was fully booked so we had no choice. It had a funky smell, which lingered on our pajama the following day there was cockroaches on the wall. The water in the tub did not drain. There was holes all over the walls. It was really bad. It was just the last option and we had no choice.

My stay was safe and even though I had to extend my stay twice the staff made it very easy. I work in california often and when I stay in Rancho I usually stay at Cali inn. The neighborhood is a little rough but the hotel was good

This was by far the worst hotel room I have ever stayed at. I was in the room for 5 minutes before I found another hotel. There was a TV bracket on the wall, but the TV was sitting on a very dilapidated "desk". The flooring was mismatched, the bathroom was awful and I can't describe the bed - needless to say I was not going to go looking into it further. There were homeless people hanging out in the lobby and around the hotel, we were instructed to park in the gated parking lot then walk back out to get to our room. I did not feel safe in any way. I turned in my keys and found a different hotel for the night.

The chick in was good, friendly staff. Its nice they had a gated parking. But the pool wasnt very clean. The room wasnt clean. The pictures looked way nicer than the actual room. Including the shower head, it showed a nice tall one in the picture, but the water barely hit my chest & im 5'11".. so imagine my 6'6" husband showering... we were laughing our butts off but.... not cool.
