Grand Historic Home Minutes from UC Davis

Step back in time as you walk into this 1869 Greek Revival Farm House. The home is recognized by the Yolo County Historical Society. It was built by the Hext Brothers who immigrated here during the Gold Rush and changed hands several times before my Grandfather bought it almost century ago. It is located on a 80 acre working ranch with sheep and goats. It was a dairy for 50 years, providing jobs during the Great Depression for many escaping the Dust Bowl who headed West. The home has been fully renovated with modern day amenities including a spacious fully-appointed gourmet kitchen with a Viking stove and Double oven, large island perfect for gathering and an open floor plan leading into Dining Room. Downstairs den has a side slate patio that is shaded on hot Summer afternoons. Sit and relax under the stars at night and listen to the crickets and frogs. Hard to believe you are just minutes from Downtown Davis and the UC Davis Vet Center.

Great getaway in Davis
Great place for a large family gathering. Plenty to see and do in a beautifully restored farmhouse. Rachel was an incredible host. Would highly recommend booking this home.

Wedding venue
We were able to use this property as our wedding venue and it was beautiful! The property has stunning views and the house is just gorgeous! The property owner is extremely easy to get ahold of and work with. The animals in the property are all cute but there is an orange cat who steals the show with all his character and personality. My now husband and I loved this property and hopefully can refer others to use it!!
