「Got in around 6pm and had a warm welcome from Kevin, the owner. Very pleasant setting and very quiet. We stayed in a family cabin with bunk bed for kids. Their room got very toasty overnight with the heat set around 70F because we had their door closed. The whole place was so clean and well-stocked with kitchen dishes and utensils, even some coffee in case you forget to bring your own. 「We had a great stay. Excellent location for fishing Arkansas River and we did day trips to Monarch and San Dunes. Cabin is nicely located among some ranches/farms with good privacy and away from roads. Saw deer and elk from the cabin most days. Excellent place for a low-key reunion with friends. Great communication from owner and property management company.」

We went to St. Elmo and visited the chipmunks, drove through the Moffat Tunnels, and had a snowball fight at the top of the Continental Divide in June. The creek by the cabin was mesmerizing. 「Second time staying at this house and skiing Wolf Creek. Great location to the small town of South Fork. Easy checkin and out. No real issues with the property and easily fit 12 adults / older teens and 1 baby. Great hot tub after the slopes and fire pit down by the river. Great views from house as well. Use Rocky Mountain Ski for your gear they’re great. Will be back again and hopefully not take 6 years like the last time.」
