"We booked this B&B last minute for my birthday trip. Polkerris completely exceeded ALL of our expectations. It is the CLEANEST accommodations I have ever stayed at!!! Our room was spotless and so were the common areas and dining experience. The property is well-maintained + great view, this made us feel very comfortable.
We missed their welcome message and did not send them our arrival time, yet they were still so welcoming when we got there a bit early.
The family (Laura and her parents) that runs Polkerris and all staff we encountered are incredibly kind and make you feel so welcome. Their passion for hospitality shines through in all they do, we felt like we were staying at a relative’s home because of their kindness and care. They went above & beyond for my birthday and I will always remember this (especially because this has been a hard year for us, we really needed this warm experience).
This was our first time having traditional Jamaican food and it was absolutely delicious!!! Everything they served us was wonderful. I’m really missing the Escovitch fish. My husband eats only veg & chicken and I’m pescatarian and we felt like we had enough options, and they are also flexible and accommodating too with food preferences.
The location is extremely convenient, only a few minutes from the airport. You can walk to the beaches, shops, and 27/27 Lounge is literally right down the street. We would love to stay here again. Thank you all for everything!"
