Lovely comfortable house

A group of 6 spent 3 nights in this home. Carole met us and showed us everything about the home and grounds., using google translste at times. She was very helpful. Knfirmstion about the area, things to do, restaurants and so on was made available beforehand with more detailed info at the home. Very comfortable outdoir space.

Super villa in St. Francois

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The garden is phenomenal, very well kept and clean and large. It's a joy to stay there. The house inside is great, lots of space and all the amenities one needs. Pool is also great, very clean. The villa is in a perfect location in St. Francois. Quiet and secure area, yet close to shops, restaurants, beaches. Owner contact was also great. A definite recommendation. I would look no further for a stay in this area.

EXOTIC FRENCH BLISS

Letter for VRBO EXOTIC FRENCH BLISS We recently stayed for one week in this lovely home. The private grounds and pool area are lush with tropical foliage including bananas and voyager plants. Hammocks invite relaxation. What fun it was also to watch the hummingbirds. It didn’t take long for the stress to melt away. Sometimes even parachutes could be seen drifting slowly through the clouds, as there is a small airport nearby. The beaches on this island are breathtaking as some are beautiful white sand and others are on the edges of rocky cliffs. In the evenings we loved sitting in the open areas and enjoyed our “Ti punch” tropical punch and dinner with friends. We did not play golf, but the only golf course on the island is just minutes away and it looks nice. The town of St Francois is the bustling village nearby and what a joy it was to see fresh fish coming in daily by the boatfuls. The owners were very responsive to our questions and requests. The house was clean, well decorated and equipped with everything you need. The internet access was reliable, as was the water supply. We heard from other renters that this is not always the case on this island so we were pleased that both internet and water were readily available. I would highly recommend this home for anyone who is looking for a French experience with a tropical twist. Georgette and Gils, we look forward to visiting your home and Guadeloupe again.

Magnifique Séjour

Villa très propre, idéalement située à Saint François. Le jardin est magnifique et bien arboré ce qui donne un aspect paisible lorsqu'on se prélasse au bord de la piscine. La villa est très bien équipée, on ne manque de rien. La communication avec Mme Briand et Carole est parfaite, merci pour les petites attentions. Vous trouverez dans la villa pleins d'informations pour votre séjour, tout est fait pour que vous puissiez profitez au maximum de vos vacances. Le seul petit inconvénient pour nous était la literie qui était ferme, mais ça reste notre avis personnel et dépend des goûts de chacun. Pour tout le reste, je recommande fortement cette location, une petite pépite pour bien profiter de vos vacances.

Une villa magnifique

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, du début à la fin. La villa est idéalement située. L’accueil de Carole est à saluer, toujours disponible, souriante et compréhensive. C’est un havre de paix, le jardin arboré subjugue, la décoration intérieure typique et de très bon goût, nous rappelle bien que nous sommes en vacances. La prolongation de notre séjour s’est faite en toute simplicité, un grand merci a Georgette! Nous y reviendront à coup sûr.

Des espaces de convivialité fort apprécié

Pour un séjour entre amis, nous avons apprécié les espaces de convivialité: terrasse, piscine, salon extérieur... La villa est bien située et proche des commodités. La cuisine est bien équipée. Quelques points pourraient être améliorés: surmatelas pour la chambre du haut (en configuration 2 lits) et le lit de 140cm, une utilisation plus dimple du téléviseur de la chambre donnant sur l'extérieur. Nous avons toutefois passé un très bon séjour dans cette villa.

Une maison agréable avec de très beaux extérieurs

Belle expérience dans cette maison. Cette maison est idéalement placée dans Saint François, les extérieurs (jardin, terrasse, piscine) sont vraiment très agréables et soignés. L’intérieur est fonctionnel et propre même si la décoration pourrait être améliorée. La maison est bien équipée et confortable grâce à ses nombreuses salles de bains et sa cuisine. La communication avec l’hôte et la personne sur place s’est très bien passée. Je recommande cet endroit pour découvrir les trésors de la Guadeloupe.

bel écrin de verdure pour cette maison dans les hauts de St Francois

Sans hésitation choisissez la maison de Georgette qui pense à tout pour votre accueil, confort dans un lieu paisible. Cette maison est facile à vivre même à plusieurs avec des parties communes mais aussi chaque membre aura son intimité avec une chambre et salle de bain attenante. La maison est grande et bien organisée, le jardin est aussi vaste, dans un quartier residentiel où tout est à portée. La piscine est entourée de verdure avec terrasse bois où sont disposés transat et parasol. Nous ne regrettons pas du tout notre choix et referons confiance à Carole (concierge des lieux) et Georgette la proprietaire.

Magnifique maison, fonctionnelle. Des chambres agréables et sympa dans leur déco. De beaux arbres fruitiers. Bien placée à Saint François, possible d'aller à pieds dans le bourg. Une belle corbeille de fruits nous attendait, ainsi qu'un livret pleins de renseignements pour les visites, les restos.... Me B est à l'écoute de ses locataires, toujours prête à nous conseiller. Merci à Me Briand pour son accueil chaleureux et son souci de notre bien être dans sa propriété. Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cette maison avec tout le confort et une très jolie décoration. La piscine est au milieu d’un très beau jardin et permet de profiter du temps clement local. La maison est située dans un endroit calme et permet un accès facile au centre et à la plage de la coulée. Me Briand nous a laissé toutes les informations nécessaires pour profiter des meilleurs produits locaux. A recommander les yeux fermés.

Een fantastische ervaring in een geweldige villa

Deze villa was van alle gemakken voorzien, vaatwasser, oven, magnetron wasmachine nespresso apparaat, airco, goedwerkende WIFI en televisies in alle kamers. De villa is gelegen in een fantastische tuin met palmbomen, bananenplanten bloemen en met zwembad. Het zwembad was licht zout. Geen bezwaar want daardoor is er veel minder chloor nodig. Het ontvangst door Carole was erg warm en we werden verrast met een schaal vers fruit en natuurlijk een flesje rum. In de tuin hing een grote tros bananen te rijpen van de eigen bananenplanten die na een paar dagen heerlijk waren. Ook waren er genoeg ligbedden en parasols voor iedereen. Mede door deze villa is onze vakantie in Guadeloupe geweldig geweest. Het tussentijdse contact met Georgette via de mail en Carole was erg goed. De winkels en restaurants waren goed bereikbaar maar een auto is zeker aan te raden. Het enige jammere dit jaar was soms de sargasse. Dit zijn algen die uit Brazilië komen en op de stranden aanspoelen. Het zijn kleine plantjes die uiteindelijk gaan rotten en een zeer penetrante geur verspreiden. Dit is niet overal zo. Het zorgt er wel voor dat bepaalde stranden door deze lucht niet worden bezocht. Tijdens een boottocht naar Petite Terre (moet je zeker doen) werd mij wel verteld dat niet elk jaar deze sargasse aanspoelt. Een aanrader was ook het restaurant ‘La Salsa’ in de jachthaven. Erg lekker gegeten voor een redelijke prijs en een snelle vriendelijke service. Guadeloupe ligt qua prijsstelling ongeveer gelijk aan Nederland. Wij (een groep van 5 volwassenen) waren voor diner tussen de 100 en 200 euro incl. drinken en dessert kwijt. Soms zijn de prijzen in de supermarkt wat hoger (het is een eiland waar veel geïmporteerd moet worden) en soms wat lager. Wat een groot voordeel van Guadeloupe is dat het deel uitmaakt van Frankrijk en dus ook de EU. Hierdoor waren de tarieven voor telefoon en internet gelijk aan die van Nederland. Daarnaast betaal je gewoon met de Euro. Georgette ik wil je nogmaals hartelijk bedanken voor het mogen verblijven in je prachtige villa. Marcel en Gonny

Une petite merveille

Nous avons passé 15 jours superbes dans la villa Mango. Nous avons été accueilli le soir par Carole très disponible pdt tout le séjour. La propriétaire est très à l'écoute de ses locataires et prend de nos nouvelles durant le séjour par mail. Très beau jardin bien entretenu qui aspire le calme et le repos. La villa est très fonctionnelle et bien équipée, la terrasse couverte très agréable avec ses canapés et fauteuils ainsi que cette grande table pour les repas abrités du soleil. Sur les hauteurs de St François, on bénéficie des alizés qui vous empêchent d'avoir trop chaud, proche du centre à pied environ 10/15 mn. Merci aux propriétaires pour le relationnel avant, pendant et après le séjour. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.
