“We stayed 2 nights at the end of August. We had a beautiful and comfortable room at one of the gatehouses. The bed was comfy, there were several English tv channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and well planned. The breakfast was all self service. The quality of the breakfast was excellent but it would have nice to have someone explain that you have to make your own coffee (the coffee machine was well away from the breakfast buffet, almost at……

“We stayed at this hotel last time we were in Dinard a couple of years ago and we enjoyed it so much we returned. The hotel is in a fabulous historic building right by the beach and an easy walk into the town centre. The reception staff were very welcoming and so enthusiastic explaining the interesting history of the building and its past occupants. “This is essentially a camping cottage - came with linens and kitchenware. There is a small restaurant and kiosk on site (where you can order croissant and baguettes fresh for the morning) and the property is shared with a campground (with electrical hook-up). There is a semi-private beach and a beautiful and charming beachfront area with restaurants. You'll need a car to get there, but once you are there you could get by with a bike and walking.”

“Checking in was easy and the gentleman was very helpful with suggestions on what to do and where to go. This hotel is 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, so is ideal for those about to leave France or who have just arrived and looking for an excellent place to stay. “The staff was helpful in solving the issue while the event in the old city forbids any taxi coming in to pick us up. She was resourceful in getting an electric bike and get our luggage and then ourselves to the train station.”
