「The staff are helpful and friendly. They were always willing to help with things beyond their responsibility, like recommending me with good restaurants nearby, looking for day tours for me and helping me to store my luggage after I checked out! Brilliant hotel with very nice staff!」

「Cannot get a better location in Arromanches than this classic old seaside hotel. Front desk reception was so friendly. The staff makes this hotel feel quaint and family run. Our room was lovely and very stylishly decorated, as well as spacious and incredibly clean. It had a nice view of the sea, as well as the museum (which is right next door). The hotel is situated directly on the seaside promenade. The rooms lock from both the inside and outside with an actual key. We ate both dinner and...

「Nice Hotel. We stayed in the family room in July of 2025 where there is a door that separates the other bedroom, which was nice as we stayed with our 2 adult children. The rooms did not have AC, but they do have windows that open (no screens unfortunately) that brought in cool air. We paid for their breakfast which was pretty good. Only about a 15 minute car ride to the Juno Beach museum. They have a parking lot, but with only about 10 stalls. We had to park in the front which was fine. ...

「A lovely hotel. Very convenient location in a beautiful town. We felt very well taken care of. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We would have loved to have been able to stay longer. 」

「We had a fantastic stay. Room was spacious and comfy. Constructive critisim would be when cleaning don't forget the shower seals as this was quite grimey. An under counter fridge would have been a fantastic touch as we went to the shop each night to buy tea due to food intolerance. I did report the bathroom door also as being difficult to open and close. I did get stuck in there one evening so luckily husband was there to let me out lol. 」

「We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. 」

「Very decent hotel, particularly good for overnight stays for the ferry. The reception we received was excellent, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and everything was very clean. The communication from the hotel was great and they were very accommodating when we asked for a room on a lower floor. The parking is a bit tight so would recommend booking in advance. Perfect hotel for us.」
