“This is an absolutely wonderful property located outside the busy town center of Bourges but within walking distance. It is a beautiful home run by the family with 4 nicely appointed and cozy rooms upstairs. Parking on site and breakfast and a nice coffee and pastry salon round this wonderful place out.”

“No outlets in room to charge your phone. No coffee machine in room. But the decor was lovely and classy. The breakfast was underwhelming no cheese eggs or meat. However the croissants were huge and amazing. The woman who checked me in was kind and accommodating. But the male staff at breakfast was standoffish and not warm or welcoming. The grounds could use some more landscaping befitting of a chateau.”

“Everything was unique about this place, the location, the warm and generous host, her dog Twiggy. We had a delicious breakfast every morning including freshly made crepes. At the last minute we were given a ride to the nearest train station ! I will never forget Nicole and her place. Ligia”

Beautiful home, full of books and art. This is not a fancy or high-end luxury experience; but a beautiful and charming rural experience with a great deal of grace, serenity, nature, culture -- if you like books, dining, wine, and nature, book several days here. Bruno and Marrianne are lovely to be around.”

“Hotel is a real chateau/palace.Majestic view overlooking vineyard country.very few guestrooms so it is a very private/boutique hotel.rented bikes from the hotel and had a fabulous day biiing through the countryside.”

“This hotel is a perfect little haven right in the centre of Sancerre. The welcome was so warm from Stephanie and we had a lovely breakfast each morning. The room was spacious and we loved the little roof terrace. We'll definitely go back.”

“Nos quedamos dos noches 1) no repusieron toallas, ni limpiaron la habitación durante toda la estadía. 2) No repusieron el poco papel higiénico que habían dejado 3) no había en la habitación teléfono ni minibar,heladera ni aire acondicionado 4) previo al check out, no dispusimos de agua caliente, por lo que no pudimos ducharnos 5) no había papel tissue, ni jabón de mano 6) La habitación no se podía cerrar con seguridad, ya que no tenía ni cerradura ni pestillo, por lo que la puerta no ofrecía……

“In a short distance from a cute town, this hotel has beautiful views, wonderful pool with loungers and umbrellas, many free parking spaces near by and very comfortable rooms. If these rooms has a small fridge, that would be even better. Enjoyed our stay very much!”
