"Stopped at this hotel on a drive through France and it was great. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious and the pool is a lovely way to unwind after a long drive. The rooms are perhaps a touch basic but they have everything you need and were clean and comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We can fully recommend Charnay Plaisance! The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. We will return!"

"Beautiful setting and Edouard and Alexandra were amazing hosts! They’ve recently refurbished their place to a very high standard and my wife even enjoyed a dip in the swimming pool. Situated right next to a gorgeous chateau, we couldn’t have asked for more for our first night of holiday. If we are travelling this way in the future we shall be sure to stay again."
