“因为第二天上午要带儿子面试学校，下午又要赶机场，所以在入住时提出能否延迟退房，这样可以赶回来换上旅行的装备，前台接待很痛快地说到12点。房间很大，也很舒服，酒店所处位置很好，周边有加油站、超市、餐饮，但房间都非常安静，对于自驾而言，是非常不错的选择。”

“Being in a cellular dead zone, the Hotel should have a robust WiFi system, but it does not. “A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! ”

“Overall my stay was OK. Upon arrival I was not able to check in on time because my room was not available due to hotel being reserved to capacity, which caused me to have a 1 hr delay in check in. The hotel receptionist (Urania)was somewhat pleasant however, made some remarks that my particular room wasn’t ready because I had to wait for a handicap room, I stated I did not book a handicap room. “I rarely would give a five star review, this property was so beautiful, beautiful welcoming, and extremely clean. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast every day with a beautiful view of the water & the staff were so friendly and accommodating for all of our needs. A+ for the luxurious towels and amenities. “Dusty walls; many, many marks and stains on floor, walls, and woodwork. Parking in front of rooms full of cigarette butts and small trash. Price was cheap but definitely not worth the bargain. Needs extensive deep cleaning and repainting.”

I've stayed here in the past when visiting family near by and haven't been disappointed. “The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for……

“The property is large, so listen to the staff’s helpful directions upon checkin. Highly recommend taking the time to relax and read at their pool. The quiet adult pool area was a very welcome and unexpected amenity!”

I had very limited options to cancel second day; would have been reimbursed very small amount;That was unacceptable. Probably more options if had booked through hotel. “The building is old and smells older. Cleanliness was fair at best. Entire building and rooms are cooled only by window units, so the rooms were not very cool. We were there for only an evening, so we tolerated it. We did eat at the Williamsburg Inn and that was a good atmosphere. We wanted to stay in an historic place, but would not consider the Griffin again.”
