La vista es insuperable, disfrutamos de la piscina, de las áreas verdes internas a la propiedad, practicamos deporte al aire libre, etc . Además las casa tiene tantos ambientes muy agradables y acogedores, que sinceramente no teníamos ganas de salir de la propiedad. Estuvimos en casa 10 personas, por 9 días en familia y la pasamos fantástico. Un sincero agradecimiento al Sr. Alvaro……

“This is an amazing house on an amazing property. The house is well appointed and spacious. The pool is enormous, and overlooks the river. We enjoyed watching the tour boats go up and down the river, and passing the goats and chickens on the road. The host has made it very comfortable. The only downside is it is an extremely twisty and steep road down to the house. But totally worth it for the serenity upon arrival.”

His house was absolutely beautiful, and he greeted us upon our arrival to show us around the property. “Le logement est spacieux et l’extérieur est très agréable avec le jardin, les terrasses et la piscine. La literie est confortable et il y a tout le nécessaire dans les salles d’eau (produits et linge). La cuisine est bien équipée mais la hotte est un peu basse. Nous y avons passé deux belles semaines ! Sur les conseils de la propriétaire, nous avons pu découvrir de belles adresses (restaurants, caves, monuments…).”

“⁃ Nous avons adoré notre séjour et l'accueil que nous avons reçu autant de la propriétaire que des voisins. Le pain livré a la porte le matin était délicieux, le panorama est époustouflant, particulièrement de la piscine. Les quelques problèmes de fonctionnement ont été réglé rapidement. L'emplacement tout près du train de la vallée du Douro est un plus autant pour aller plus haut dans la vallée que pour aller a Porto. Merci a Fatima, Déonilde, Michel et Carlos, et à la voisine, dont j ignore le……

“We had an amazing time here with a group of 8 friends. Alexandra is a fantastic host - she set up a boat cruise, a private chef and wine tastings for us as well as arranged for us to have a driver. The property is wonderful - better than the pictures even. It was very clean and every bedroom had it's own private bathroom. We will definately be back.”

“We spent a lovely week at Casa do Vimieiro. We were 2 couples, and the house was spacious comfortable, and clean. Susana responded to queries very promptly. The countryside is beautiful. My only caution is that driving in the area is not for the faint of heart. Also, people with mobility issues should avoid the house as there are many stairs and uneven steps going into the property. Finding the best route to the house is a challenge. The GPS we used took us on a harrowing ride. We later found……

“Our family spent a week at this property and we cannot say enough good things about it. The house itself was spotlessly clean, the pool and view was amazing and the house, including the kitchen, fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There was lots of room for everyone in our group and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a big plus. We didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay and would not hesitate to return again!”

“We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was on the 8th floor and was more a suite than a room. It comprised a king size bed, large couch, table for two and a bathroom. This room also had the added benefit of a private terrace/garden with river views. Quality of fitout was of a high standard and also included were robes and slippers. Additional facilities included in the room rate were three pools (and outdoor horizon pool, an indoor swimming pool and an indoor spa),……
