Adorable Spanish style detached back home or casita in fantastic area of Historic North Park . Very quiet. Open & bright with Saltillo tile floor, open concept, updated kitchen, and eating area.. Comfy queen bed in bedroom and a full size hide-a-bed in living room, plus Pack 'n Play if needed. 50" TV/DVD with cable and high speed Internet. Private patio in front w/umbrella covered table & chairs. Private back patio w/loungers, bistro set, gas bbq grill & festive lighting. Laundry facilities available. One off street parking spot in driveway for your convenience. No stairs from parking to casita, the home is all on one level also. Organic products are supplied for your use, including the laundry soap that we use for your sheets and towels.

Walk to everything!! Cafes, restaurants, Morley Park where there is a newly renovated Historic 1933 outdoor public pool. Only 5 blocks from the casita. Bus stop nearby too. Walk score 89, close to Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Morley Field, shopping, restaurants, I-5, 15 minutes to beach, close to Downtown San Diego, Coronado Island and 14 minutes to airport.

Many nearby restaurants - the popular Communal Coffee Café and the Olympic Cafe (Greek food) is just a block away. Walk nearby to 30th & University for many restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping and breweries. Thursday is North Park's Farmers Market & Whole Foods is nearby. The Smoking Goat Bistro (French American), Urban Solace, Tamarindo (Latin), Soi, Craft & Sea, The Mission, Underbelly (Japanese noodle) are just a few restaurants to sample. This is a fantastic neighborhood with much to explore & experience! The location is amazing, and the casita is charming and very clean!

It was a perfect fit for our weekend vacation. We got delayed by traffic and came in after dark. The instructions for parking, gaining access to the property and lock codes were so clear. Nancy was very prompt with her responses when I had questions. The sleeping arrangements were cozy. The house sleeps 4. One master bedroom and one couch sofa. The kitchen and dining room was so easy to use with all the necessary tools and equipment for eating at home if that is what you need. One bathroom with amazing shower water pressure. And a front and back patio for outdoor dining and hanging out. We didn’t use the laundry room so can’t comment about it. Would highly recommend!

Very close to the San Diego zoo, easy walk to the park. Driving to both South mission and silver strand was quick, and was a reasonable drive to the safari park.

The property was accurately shown and described online and was safe, functional, and clean. The North Park neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located near restaurants, public transit, and a great park with public pool, playground, and hiking trails. Free laundry facilities are available in an adjacent building. Free parking is available if needed. The host was communicative and professional. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.The kitchen was very well equipped and supplied for a long-term stay.

If u are looking for San Diego traditional living style this is it. Private parking clean area home is a small cottage for four!!! It was just everything I needed!!! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Small night sky u can use a remote for. And walking distance to coffee shops, food and a laundromat! Even though the property has its own to use. A block from a grocery store. It was just everything I needed!!

Everything was wonderful—the location was quiet with groceries and coffee shop within a block or two. Kitchen was well appointed. Communication with host was immediate when we had questions. We failed to notice in pictures (although pictures do show this) that the bathroom is accessible only through the bedroom—not really an issue for us with family members but perhaps for other groups it could be.Overall we had a lovely stay!

Our host was very responsive and professional. Our Casita stay was very comfortable and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We took walks to the park and went to a local gym for exercise. The location is very central to all the things that we did. I highly recommend this lovely Casita and we would come back and stay again!

We enjoyed our 3 week stay in Nancy’s cute casita. She is quick to respond to questions. Neighborhood very safe and easy walk to Balboa Park where there is a pool. Lots of close restaurants and cafes and a grocery store. We enjoyed sitting in the private and very quiet courtyard. The casita is located behind the house shown in listing picture. Absolute gem of a propery. Amazing location in North Park, two blocks from 10/7 bus lines for convenience and plenty of walkable food and shopping options. Host was so kind and responsive! I’m extremely grateful and will save it for possible future travel for sure.

Wife and I had a great time staying here. Casita has some privacy from the road, which was nice. Grocery store, gas station, a nice coffee shop, and a great Mexican place just a couple blocks away. Casita was well stocked with towels, soaps, pots and pans, and basic cooking supplies like oil and seasonings. Would absolutely recommend staying here while visiting the San Diego area. Home owner was very prompt and helpful with questions over VRBO.

Nancy's Casita is cozy and spacious for two people, with room for spreading out in the combined kitchen/living room. There are many thoughtful touches such as a makeup mirror in the bathroom and a kitchen with coffee, tea, and basics such as sugar, oil, and spices. The bathroom does not have much counter space, but there is a place to set things just outside the bathroom. I appreciated that there were plenty of clean towels and washcloths. There is a skylight in the bedroom; it took us a moment to find the controls for the automatic blinds, they are located in the closet alcove. The location was perfect, close to everything, with a great morning coffee place only steps away. Nancy was a good communicator, responding quickly to any questions. I would happily stay here again.
