“This is a great location to stay at if you are headed to La Union. Aureo is super close to being a 5 star review, they were just missing the little details that separate from "Good" to "Excellent". We had to ask for several items in our room that are basics (slippers, body soap, shampoo, extra towels). Once asked for, the staff responded immediately however we should not have had to ask for those things when booking a villa suite. Property is well maintained however there are still areas……

“I suggest Orbitz would take this out. I called the property telling them that we will be checking in between 9:00-10:00 pm. He told me guard is 24 hrs. When we got there can't find it. Place was soo dark, no lights on. Called and looking for the place while on the phone. No guard ir caretaker, have to wait for 20 minutes. Just the entrance alone is soo dirty, rooms so smelly, not enough parking for 2 vehicles, I booked for 8 persons for 2 rooms. She was providing 1 bathroom and told me 1 booked……

“Beautiful landscape with awesome swimming pool and ocean view but the property is somewhat rundown. It’s not being maintained. The hardware in my bathroom is rusty. Definitely looks old and it smelled like sewer after taking a long shower. Room is big but very dull. No character for what is advertised as 5 star hotel. Breakfast is a typical Filipino breakfast; not exciting for a hotel rated as 5 star. ”

“Customer service was outstanding! We mentioned that our first room had an unpleasant smell, and the staff addressed the issue immediately. They even upgraded us to one of the nicest suites we’ve ever stayed in, which made our experience even more special. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast featured delicious, traditional Filipino dishes. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed……

“Not worth the money at all. Super old room, not even a refrigerator. In need of a renovation badly. I’d expect the room I was in to be $25 a night not $100 a night. The only good thing I can say is that the water was hot. The way the room looked, you’d think it wouldn’t even have hot water. And the bed was sturdy, just trying to say something positive.”

“Excellent resort with a very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and have good air conditioning. The beach access is highly convenient, and or children loved the safe and friendly confines of the resort. Can't say enough about the great staff and excellent chef!! My mother is a native of Bauang and Ilocano and he was always willing and able to make Ilocano specialties (and American food for my children) that exceeded what was being served elsewhere.
