The Carnival generally takes place every Sunday (for a total of four events) starting from the last Sunday of January. It starts in the afternoon around 3.30pm and entry is free. It's a fun way to spend the day, especially for children, with parades of allegorical floats, lots of music, jokes, masks and endless confetti. The Messi holiday, on the other hand, is a wonderful historical-medieval event that takes place in the city streets and squares and in which you can admire performances by storytellers, musicians, actors, dancers, flag-wavers and drummers, as well as the inevitable parade of knights and figures walk in period costumes which ends with an exciting knightly tournament. For the occasion, very interesting stalls are also set up in the streets of the historic centre. Registration number 052028LTN0022
