“This villa is the perfect retreat spot with spectacular views of the bay. Our host was super responsive and accommodating. The villa is set up with all the essentials including rockers and table, chaise chairs and a hammock for nap time 😉. The house is comfortable despite the afternoon heat but cross ventilation helps immensely. It’s less than a 10 minute walk into town and although the return walk is a bit in the steep side - totally walkable or you can catch a taxi in town vs walking or……

“This place is great! James was exceedingly helpful in the weeks prior to our visit. Thank you James! The house is beautiful and the folks taking care of it are lovely. Everything worked well, with the exception of the WiFi which was slow and only really available in the kitchen — not a big deal for us though; we have phones for hot spots & it meant that we enjoyed the resort (and the cafe) for our early morning work calls. Being walkable to the resort’s main restaurant, cafe & tienda was……

“The Cooper house and the Casita Romantica is everything as edvertised. My wife and 8 year old son truly enjoyed the great views, local shopping and amazing food just 5 minutes away from the house. I like to give a special recognition to Gabriel Zamora, the property manager for being on top of things during our stay. He made sure our pool clean and the the house keepers did a great job daily of our rooms and living areas.”

“Amazing house and the views were even better than the listing photos! Easy drive to town. 4WD is recommended during rainy season as it's a steep dirt road to the house. The property caretakers (next door in the guest house) were quick to respond with any needs. Really enjoyed our stay. 5 stars all around.”

“The view is breathtaking, ac is cold, pool is refreshing and staff is fantastic. My whole family enjoyed this vacation. We had yoga instructors come from San Juan most mornings for family yoga in the private palapa as well as masseuses a couple times for sunset 10/10. The beach is really close, surfing is fun for all levels, restaurants are delicious. Town is about 30min out on a dirt road, and they are building a new road as I was there so may be closer soon - will be back!!”

“We had 2 families with 9 people Total in this house and had more than enough room for all of us. The grounds were beautiful and the staff worked nonstop to make sure it remained so. David was truly helpful throughout the whole trip hooking up everything we needed. We’ll be back to both Iguana and this house!”

“Beware! This property is not as advertised. The advertisement that the house is “Beachside” is a stretch. House is on top of a steep hill from the beach with multiple other houses between it and the beach. Some key pictures in the listing are outdated; for example, the listing picture of an ocean view from the first floor no longer applies as it appears to have been taken over 10 years ago before tree growth blocked the view. The home is advertised as inside Rancho Santana; however, what is not……

“We absolutely loved our time at the Villa, it is the perfect location for a group and allows for lots of space for all. The pool was enjoyed by everyone, the night sky is spectacular and Joel and his family made it feel like home. We had a vehicle, so the 15 minute drive to and from SJDS was not a problem for us and we were closer to three incredible beaches from the villa than if we were in town.”

“Nous y avons passés 11 nuits (3 adultes et 2 enfants de 4 et 7 ans). c'est une très belle maison avec une très jolie vue. Tout est bien pensé, ce qui rend la maison très agréable à vivre. Aucun soucis pour y venir avec des enfants. Le personnel s'occupant de l’extérieur (jardin/piscine) est très efficace et très discret. La maison est sur les hauteurs de San Juan sans commerce ni restaurant à proximité ce qui veut dire 10-15 min de trajet pour se rendre en ville, par contre cela permet d'être……
