No AC, no oven, no hot water, no good
I was supposed to stay at this property from 5/15 to 5/24. The day after I moved in the AC went out. My cellular phone didn't work at the property, which supposedly happens occasionally, so I had a lot of difficulty reaching Coastal Vacation Rental Properties. Their manager came out to look at the AC, and basically made it worse, leaving flashing lights on all of the fans (which was interesting at night). They sent an HVAC technician out to look at the AC - again my cell phone didn't work there so this was difficult to coordinate - four separate times. I actually called Coastal Vacation Rentals to cancel the last appointment, successfully did so, but when I left the property to walk my dog the AC tech was sitting outside of the property in his car. I told him I cancelled, he said it would take "two minutes to fix", but after twenty minutes of no results I asked him kindly to leave. When I left the property I was concerned because he was still sitting outside in his car. I therefore LOCKED THE INSIDE FRONT DOOR AND WENT OUT THROUGH THE GARAGE USING THE CLICKER, LEAVING THE GARAGE DOOR OPEN. When I came back one hour later, the FRONT DOOR WAS UNLOCKED AND THE GARAGE DOOR WAS LOCKED.
I was scared and had no way to contact anyone. My emails were not returned.
I packed my stuff and left the next morning. Interestingly, the hot water was turned off and I had to take a freezing cold shower the morning I left.
This property is ok but the experience was terrible.
