Wonderful stay!

I met with other family members for a mini vacation for the Balloon Fest. This is about 20 miles from Albuquerque, but so worth the stay. Large HOME with room for everyone, well stocked, great beds and bathrooms. The horses are adorable and funny! It will be my go-to place in the future for this area.

We so enjoyed our stay in this historic home. Getting to know the owners while watching them feed the rescue horses, long horn cattle and mule was a great treat. So many wonderful treasures within the house. We were visiting a wonderful friend and her family , this was the perfect place we were blessed with !

Perfect Location

We really enjoy our time on the Homestead...the horses give a quiet peace and are fun to watch....especially at feeding time.... Connie was very good to help with some needs that arose during our stay... I am sure we will be back...

Traffic Noise

We had a very enjoyable time. Everything was clean. The kitchen utensils were well stocked. The horses in the back were fun to watch and even pet briefly. I think there were only two things that we or our friends commented negatively on. The traffic noise outside the living room because the house is closer to the road than we thought and the beds were too firm for our liking. It also would have been nice if the larger brown chair in the living room was in better shape and didn’t need a cover to hide the wear and tear.

Hunting Trip

Had a great stay. Host was very helpful. House was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Kitchen had every cooking utensil. Go to Feed Store right near it. They have souvenirs, Horse Tack, and an awesome trophy room (s). If you don't like hunting - don't go in that room. + Horses
