- Drop Anchor at The Captain's House-Sandusky which has your comfort in mind- fully equipped and boasts 4 bdrms w/ queen beds, 2 full baths. Living rm has a foam mattress sofa bed. There are 2 kitchens with 3 refrigerators/freezers, a three-season front porch, a fenced-in backyard, a gas grill, and AC/heat. Lots of room to spread out for a large group. Easy drive to the waterfront on Sandusky Bay on Lake Erie, the Walleye Capital of the World, Cedar Point, Great Wolf Lodge, Cedar Point Sports Center, Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point, ferries to Kelleys, and South Bass Island/Put-in-Bay and daytrip adventures.
There is so much to do here and all along the shores of the Western Basin of Lake Erie within an easy driving distance. Many close, fun wineries, eateries, and bars to partake in your own nautical driving, biking, walking, boating adventures in Sandusky, and nearby Vermillion, Marblehead, Port Clinton, Catawba Islands and the Lake Erie Islands. One of Ohio's destination gems that never ceases to amaze and is key to your freshwater fun!

The house is great. It’s close to a lot of things you can walk to. There’s lots of space and amenities. We had dogs with us and that process worked well as well! There are three refrigerators and lots of couches, blankets and pillows. The wifi works great. The neighborhood is somewhat busy, but we’re from the country. Bring your own games or puzzles, and be careful with where you park. The basement is a great plus!
