“We loved our stay at this home. The space is amazing and perfect for a large group. We rented this home for a family wedding held at Gunstock. The location was ideal. “The view was outstanding. And the location was great. We enjoyed the pools and hot tub at the rec center and the nice little walk in the woods to get there (and that is was only 3min away if you didn't want to walk). So much to do around the area and the host was very responsive. However it is a little more rustic than the photos make it seem and a little musty. The bed I had wasn't all that comfy but I moved to one of the bunk beds and slept well there. FYI: It's $100 to have the trash removed……

“Was pretty clean a few thing were not as expected. Dishwasher had broken glass in it so we did not use it, call and they said they would send someone to look at it but never were told if they did or not. Trash was full outside and they took care of that. Also should have told us the washer can only use cold water so we knew a head of time. The sliding door had a hole in the screen. Also we wanted to use the grill but we're unable to do to the fact it was way to rusty. But overall we didn't mind……

“We stayed in excellent VRBO rentals before. Only problem was garbage from previous rentals had never been removed from property. As snow melted we found an old cigar but on deck as well as dog poop. Which we picked up ourselves. The were many different conflicting instructions on what not to do and what to do in regards to heat, water, dishwasher (there is no dishwasher), but there were pods for one? Otherwise, we had fun. “Let’s just start with- overall the house served its purpose. We had a roof over our heads for the 4 days we were in town. There were some oddities about this place that I will list below. Negatives This is not an air conditioned house. It has 1 window unit in the kitchen. The house was 89 deg upon our arrival and took two days to even get to 79 deg. You must run the dehumidifier constantly and empty the bucket multiple times a day. There are fans in every room but not outlets in every room……
