“We rent a place on Lake Murray every 4th of July. I have to say this is the worse experience we’ve ever had. The kitchen is infested with ants. Ants were all over the counter and got in all our chips and boxes of cereal. There were also ants in the twin size bed downstairs, both showers, and the bathroom vanities. The refrigerator did not work. When we woke up the first morning all our food was warm. We had to get coolers and ice to keep our food cold. The ice maker doesn’t work either. We left……

“The house met all of my expectations. Location was outstanding and he you were easily able to dock a pontoon boat. The pool and lake were outstanding. “Rhe pictures do not do it justice. So very cute and cozy. The rooms are very roomy and the ceiling height is at least 9' which really makes the rooms feel bigger. Two tv's in opposite sides of the house. Great little fire pit picnic bench if you want to eat out side. There is a second rental above the garage so the driveway is shared plenty of parking for both units (2 cars per unit). “We just needed a place to stay while waiting for our home to open on Fort Jackson. The home was suitable for what we needed. Some small things would have made stay five stars. The listing pictures need updating. The couch that is shown downstairs is no longer there and replaced with a black futon. As is, I don’t think this home could comfortably sleep more than 2 adults and 1 small child. There is a cot & mattress in the upstairs closet that we ended up using for our toddler. Paint needs a touch……

I would suggest for the future if guests were made aware of a deposit hold which by the way still has not been released. Overall i really enjoyed the property and had a good stay.
