Great Stay for a Holiday Visit

We had a nice time visiting with family and this property gave us plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. The beds were low to the ground, but incredibly comfortable. The views were awesome and the location very nice. We would stay here again.

Lake life fun

Wonderful location, great house. Right on the water - canoe trips in the morning and enjoying the wildlife all day long. House was fantastic for our family to enjoy time together all week. Communicating with property manager was easy with prompt responses each time.

Nice place

I booked this house for my wife and I, along with other family members, to stay while attending the wedding of our youngest daughter. We chose the Carolina Lakes community because it was fairly close to the wedding venue and also because our middle daughter and husband live here. We were allowed an early check-in on Friday. Inside the house was clean and well-stocked with necessities. Inside, there is something of an unpleasant odor. To me, the house smelled of curry. Although there is a beautiful view of the lake from behind the house, it would be nicer if it were cleared of some of the trees like other neighboring houses. Inside the house was very nice, but the front could use some major landscaping work. None of these things adversely affected the enjoyment of our stay, however. Because of the wedding, we did not get to spend as much time at the house as perhaps we would have liked. Overall, it was a good experience.
