The heating had been switched to AC so there was no heat in the building. The temperature was in the 30s everynight. The front desk gave me a small space heater but it would not heat up the room at all. Too cold to take a shower and getting dressed was hard. You can see daylight thru the front door and patio door. The staff was attentive and as hepful as they could be but had to rent for an extra night and would have been nice to receive a discount due to freeze warning and no heat. Parking was easy, conveniently located to everything. Room was dark and dated. Not in a historical way but in a cheap way. Would not stay again. Pizza was good and staff was friendly

The hotel is charming and very close to the plaza. Every morning there was fresh coffee, fruit and breakfast snacks. It was great that there was water always available.

I'm not expert, but I believe air conditioning should make your room colder. Our room's "air conditioning" was just blowing look cool air. To survive the night we had to open both windows to create some air flow. Open windows are not conducive to preventing the sounds of garbage and recycling removal trucks in the middle of the night, so that SUCKED ass. When I checked in, they gave us a two bedroom room, I booked a king, but said nothing because they got us in an hour early. The said it was on the second floor, but it really wasn't. It was like a penthouse dump. We had to carry our luggage to the second floor to get to our non-luxurious third floor den of heat. We had ants in the bathroom which was distrubing. The staff was nice, location was great, but it was a real let down.

We stayed at the Hotel Chimayo during my spring break. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel is older, but that’s part of the Santa Fe experience. It was a prime location, meaning we were able to walk to every shop, museum and church in the area. The room was nice, the people were friendly and the attached restaurant was fantastic. Breakfast is not part of the package, but we preferred walking to the coffee shops in the morning. The front porch of the hotel was our favorite place to sit after dinner during the cool evenings.

The staff were friendly and room was clean. Having parking was really nice. I wish there would have been something stated in the amenities about season A/C and no elevator. We got a room starting with a 1 which I assumed was the first floor but was sadly mistaken when we opened the door to a nice long set of stairs. Thankfully we were capable of climbing stairs and travel with a fan. Again, it's a pretty hotel but those two things (A/C and stairs) were a deal breaker.

This hotel is cute - it has an interior courtyard from which you enter each room. However, it is tired. Our room was in desperate need of an update. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom showed lots of signs of wear and tear. It could be a really great place with a little attention to details.

This is in a very good location . There is underground parking . The rooms require updating the king bed was comfortable, there was complimentary kurig coffee and water . The bathroom shower condition was in visibly poor condition and requires renovation, the shower was functional . The mechanical A/c did not work the heat was functional AC would be nice …..we were able to open windows and have a nice cross ventilation. This is not a four star hotel the property can use a refresh . The hotel next door had an excellent lounge and dining room which is highly recommended.
