Cosy apartment with terrace at the entrance of Cap Corse.
The apartment is five minutes from the sea, and from all amenities, beach, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurant, etc. And 15 minutes from Bastia.
The commune of Santa-Maria-di-Lota is verdant. It climbs along the valley dominated by Monte Prunu, which is 1,184 metres high. It is known for its Genoese tower (a 16th-century historical monument), quite well preserved, the closest to Bastia overlooking the magnificent marine with its pebble beach.
The hamlet of Figarella has the highest concentration of American houses in Cap Corse, including one of the rare Corsican castles.
For a first introduction to the Cape, one day is enough, but the peninsula is enormously varied and full of diversity. The East coast is rather shallow towards the sea and there are numerous bays for swimming, the most beautiful among them at Pietracorbara and north of Macinaggio. To the west, the coast is much more rugged and the road partly leads high along the sea. The most beautiful village of Cap Corse is Centuri, which is known for its lobster catch.
